Hotel location is just a bus ride away from Disney... But it is quite troublesome to locate from Tokyo station. Asked many people and they are not sure how to get there. A taxi ride of 30 minutes costs a bomb. The vicinity consists of residential with nothing much to explore in the evening. Not recommended for tourists.
Room had a basic small ensuite that did the job. cramped room, but typical for japan. Beds were large and comfortable. had aircon and tv with only Japanese channels. Breakfast a welcome bonus, but overcrowded on the weekend and had to wait for a seat. Free tea and coffee available anytime. Friendly clean, and safe, as is most of Tokyo. Location a little bit out of the main tourest areas, and 15min walk to closest JR east train station. But the the No.28 bus passes by the hotel. Plenty of places to eat nearby. The free wireless signal was marginal in the room, but they had 2 laptops to use in the breakfast / checkin area. Only basic english spoken by staff, and international credit card rejected by machine at checkin, note all japanese bank ATM's rejected my card as well, lucky I got cash at the airport prior from a real ATM. Would suit people on a budget, who are travelling light. I paid 8000yen / night for a twin, which is very good value.

For visiting Tokyo Disney for some 2 or more days fun, Family Resort Fifty's is comparably convenient. It's an Inn type hotel which about 12~15mins away by WALK from Kasai Rinkai Kouen station (JR Keiyo line ) and easy to find along the road side. I found a few restaurants for noodles, fast food, a convenience store etc...3~5 mins away along the same road. Breakfast is included in the hotel fee and quite reasonable with boiled egg, several types of bread, milk, orange juice, some fruits, and salads. The room i stayed at was a double bed room with a sofa bed to make it for 3 people to stay. Room size is a bit tight, but with coffee table and TV. The receptionist did not speak much English, however, he was very friendly and patient. Overall, I was quite happy staying at this hotel for one night in Sept 2009. If the room rate is slightly reduced, I think this hotel will be more value for money.
