Fantail Lodge Garden Estate has its own restaurant ‘Chapeau’, catering mainly for house guests, but for local diners and special occasions - on a pre-booked basis. The lodge’s restaurant is among the leading provincial restaurants in New Zealand.
The accredited Fantail team welcomes special requests and with notice, anything is possible.

Getting there:
Fantail Lodge Country Estate is situated off State Highway 2 (Pacific Coast Highway), two minutes south of the picturesque township of Katikati, and 25 minutes north of Tauranga/Mount Maunganui.
- Auckland, Hamilton and Rotorua are within less than two hours drive.
- Fantail Lodge Country Estate has helicopter access and the venue can be reached by small aircraft as there is a landing strip nearby.
Our 40 acres of grounds include a working orchard, park like setting, mountain creeks and duck ponds with panoramic views from both the villas and main lodge.

Check in is from 3pm at reception.
