I've rated the location as very good, but then that's because it's in exactly the part of Rome I want to be. This hotel is also perfectly located for anyone who wants to go to the football matches (the stadium is about a 7-10 minute walk). Also some very good restaurants near by that don't cost the earth. So in all, I can't complain.
I have stayed quite a few times at this hotel (I forget the exact amount) and have found this hotel to be quite pleasant. The staff are courteous and expedient, the rooms are clean. The bathrooms are a little cramped but acceptable. In all I don't have any complaints and would recommend this hotel. It is the only hotel that I have stayed at in Rome that has provided consistently good service.
This is a super little hotel in a nice neighbourhood. It is a little far from the city centre but if you don't mind the 10 minute walk and 15 minute tram journey then stay here. It's simply great value.
Nice hotel if you are visiting the Olympic Satdium for a game or concert. Good and cheap restaurants nearby, fancy design-stores and a Market side-by-side. The hotel has a nice roof-terrace for breakfast. Easy access to the center with busses.
Great location for visiting Stadio Flamino. Even the main sights of Rome are just a tram / metro ride away. Would stay here again, its basic, and compact, but very clean and friendly.
My wife and I stayed at Hotel Farnesina for 13 nights 05-16Jan 2008. The hotel is excellent for the price and the reception staff are exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Front rooms are a little noisy, (windows need to be double glazed) and no English TV channel, but English papers in breakfast room, no other criticism. Huge beds, great bathrooms, Excellent small hotel.
Great hotel and location. The receptionists were very friendly and very helpful. I would go there again!
excellent hotel, very nice service, we had a great time!
This is a nice, simple quiet hotel. However the service is not great, the breakfast is terrible and it is a long way from central Rome, but it's worth the travel if you need to save some money. Just be prepared for extra time getting there. Farnesina is a nice area for eating at night.
The hotel was very run down. It looked shabby. The room was too small to walk around in. The bed was old. The carpet needs replacing.
Very friendly, clean
Me and my husband had a very nice time in the Farnesina Hotel. It has cosy rooms and intimate atmosphere and that helped us to enjoy Rome even more.
We selected the hotel for it's location only 20 minutes walk from the Stadio Flaminia but were pleasantly surprised that it was also ideal for local restaurants and bars which were of a very high quality. I would have no hestitation in using it again.
the hotel was in a very good location handy to public transport staff were very helpfull an enjoyable stay
Nice, little hotel, it's biggest problem is it's location - and that not a single taxi driver in Rome knows of it's existence.
The rooms are very nicely decorated and I was impressed with cleanliness. Staff were friendly and location is excellent if you like to walk through less touristic areas a bit and don't mind using public transport or taxi's at night. Facilities are not too luxurious, breakfast minimal but certainly fresh and tasteful.
A top class hotel. Facilities unreal. Much more quiet than in the city centre. Can catch bus to Vatican easily and to the city from there.Great restaurants and markets nearby. Is air conditioned. Great breakfast and breakfast area. I would stay there again.
Friendly, clean, breakfast on terrace - good value.
nice small hotel (about 20 rooms) in the north of Rome. gentle helpfull people, speaking English very good. they're gonna build some more rooms. Unfortunately there is no opportunity to get on the internet, unless you take your own laptop with you. But when I get to Rome ever in the future, I would like to stay here again
Rooms were really nice. Very clean and everything looked new. Very nice bathroom. Breakfast room was nice. There is a roof terrace and this would be a wonderful place to have breakfast in Spring.
