The personnel at the adjacent restaurant & bar (where the breakfast was served) were really personable and fun. I don't know why other people have complained about their breakfast. Faros Hotel Istanbul has 23 rooms, 3 Suites, altogether 52 beds. Rooms enjoy views to the Sea of Marmara, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The breakfast is served at the Central Pub Restaurant. The Central Pub Restaurant is open 24 hours for the guests. All major credit cards are accepted.

Getting there: Driving directions from Istanbul Ataturk Airport: Turn right upon exiting the airport. Take the road named "Yesilyurt". Proceed for approximately 2 kilometers and turn left at “Sahilyolu”. Turn left at the traffic lights towards “Sultanahmet”. From front of the Hagia Sophia turn first left and follow the tram line to up, the hotel will be on the right side 100 mt. later.
