Feel Good Gothic Apartments Barcelona

The location was very centralised and the apartment was very spacious. Only problem was leaving your luggage after check-out (which is at 11am, and no free extension), where you have to walk a distance of approximately 900m to their office and pay extra 10 euros to leave luggages there. Nevertheless, overall, the apartment was a good deal.

The apartment was up three flights of stairs and the lights go off automatically on a timer so can be very dangerous if your not near a switch to turn them back on the bathroom was not painted and had bear concrete on the walls, therefore the whole apartment smelt damp and musty. The door to the bathroom did not pull across as the fitting at the top was broken the bed was very low and the apartment is not suitable for any one with any walking or movement difficulties

Overall, I was glad I stayed at the Feel Good Gothic Apartments. Bottomline: the location and price were great so I was willing to ignore the very intense moldy smell emanating from the bathroom. I read some other comments on here about the apartments. If you travel to one of the best cities in the world for food and then complain about a broken toaster in the room, this is not the place for you.

Great location, well fitted kitchen and lots of space. Bathroom fittings fine but walls just bare cement so not very inviting. No blinds or curtains at some windows.

Please fix the bathrooms in your apartments. Using concrete only for the shower is a bad idea. The shower was mouldy and smelled terrible. If you tile the bathrooms they will look A LOT better, as well as being easy to clean. We had to wear sandals whilst showering. Otherwise, a really nice apartment. Great location, and really good price.

Prime location, very nice kitchen, but the bathroom and the toilet was awfool. mouldy. Fortunatelly, we spent only one night here.

It´s a very cool apartment but not so good for four adults.

Really great location for the shops and La Ramblas. Only downside was the very narrow steep stairs and lack of elevator, but apart from that the apartment was very clean and full equipped. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Outside seemed very bad with small steps. But inside absolute perfect. Very central in the best place in town.

Spacious apartment was in good condition and in a good location, but was up 3 flights of narrow stairs with no elevator. Washing machine was not working. Toaster was not working.

This is a great option to stay in Barcelona. Location is perfect! The flat is in an old building but with totally new interior. Newly decorated with complete kitchen and bathroom. We were 4 people and stayed comfortably well. I recommend and would return. Because it is an old building, you will have to climb the stairs... prepare your legs.

The apartment was ok but make sure you phone the head office as soon as you get off the plane as if you dont you will be waiting for other people to check in before you. Also the head office is outside the city centre so a taxi is around 12 euros to the centre and back. Other than that the apartment was gorgeous and not in a bad location.

What a fantastic find. The location could not be better. My wife and I spent 2 nights here and couldn't fault it. The airport bus stops right near the appartments and it's very close to some good restaurants and bars. If we go back to Barcelona we'll come back here.

Very nice flat and good central location but for anyone arriving by car to be aware that they can't drive to it. You need to park your car first - parking 25 euros for 24 hrs (Feb 2007) on Via Laietana or 30 euros for 24 hrs in the underground car park by the cathedral, which is closer.

Max was very helpful when he showed up to let us in to the apartment. If you are from the US and not familiar with European appliances, you might ask him for help deciphering the symbols before he goes. The apartment was better than we had hoped, and WAY better than a hotel :) oh...There is no information on the door of the apartment, make certain you call in to the office and arrange for someone to let you in, or you will be waiting on the street.

Fantastic location. Had a great time there.

Not suitable for people with physical disabilities as the stairs to the flats do not comply with building regulations and there is no lift available. Not suitable for families with small children as there is too much noise due to the bad acoustic insulation. The stairs are made of stone and there is enormous reververation. You could get very noisy parties that would not allow you to sleep. (fact based on experience) Sewerage smell coming from the toilet due to the lack of water pressure and the time needed to fill the siphon with water.

Would stay there again

A very nice apartment with all the facilities you need. Enjoyed our stay and is in an excellent central location.

Excellant location for sightseeing although very noisy at night.
