The Hostal Felipe II is very well-located in the center of Barcelona. This way, you can easily visit any attractive place of this fabulous city, as museums, Plaza Catalunya, el Passeig de Gracia, just by walking through its seizing streets. Getting there:By train: take the train called RENFE line 1-AEROPORT/BADALONA and get of at the main station SANTS. Than take the blue metro line (5) in the direction of HORTA and get off at the metro station VERDAGUER. Leave the metro station via the exit Sant Joan, cross the street Diagonal, turn right into Calle Mallorca and look for the number 329. By taxi: the easiest way to get there is to take a taxi at the airport. The price depends on how many pieces of luggage you have (luggage transport costs). It is approximately 30€.

Although I was woken up several times throughout the night because of people coming back after a night out, this was one of the best hostels I have stayed in to date. Everything was clean and in a good state. The staff was incredibly helpful and very friendly. Especially Karolina, who provided additional relief through English language support. I would definitely recommend this place and have already recommended it to my friends.
Good price money ratio.
The hostel was clean and friendly. My room was very small and had no actual light (as in the pictures) since it looked into an air shaft. The internet access, air conditioning, and location make this what it is: an inexpensive place to sleep and surf the web.
Very helpful staff small but great for the price. Nice calm atmosphere and not far from the subway
