I made a last minute reservation and was placed in a fully furnished apartment one block away, a great bargain. I had a full kitchen and bath, separate bedroom, and living room with couch and chair. The location was great, about 2 blocks from the beach. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, assisting me with an early morning airport transfer and giving practical info on stores and transportation options. The only negative involved internet access (at lobby terminal, no wifi). I asked about making a Skype call at 5:45am and was told ok, the lobby is staffed 24/7. However, the next morning the night receptionist refused to let me in the building without giving a reason other than it was too early. Not making the call caused me some travel problems that I had to recover from and I was not happy at the time. However, other than that episode the staff were extremely helpful. Some early morning noise from street maintenance, but not too bad.
very good location and friendly staff, but it's quite noisy at night as the appartment faces a busy street.

Courteous staff, but very small place. No internet in the studio. Internet in the hotel is available at the hotel computer for 1 Euro per 15 minutes or WiFi access for 10 Euros for the whole duration of your stay. The studio and hotel are separate but are located at a very nice place in Rue Massena which is very close to the Promenade des Anglais and is buzzing with people. The studio has a microwave, two hot plates and a few utensils. It is airconditioned (thank god!) and has a small TV. However, there was no dustbin and no one came to service the room or change the towels. I was expecting a little better place for the price of 63 Euros per night.
I rented one of their small studios. Very simply furnished, but ideally located and very quiet. A good way to stay in Nice at a reasonable price. I'd certainly go there again.
we stayed in the studio apartment and, with the location only a stone's throw from the beach, with windows overlooking the cobblestoned streets, with pubs, restaurants, gelato places and cafes only 3 steps away, we couldn't be happier. We've already recommended and passed on the info of this establishment to family and friends.
Considering location, this hotel was definitely value for money. Only problem was the air conditioning, which was not working very well.
It was a very dirty hotel, we stayed there with our 2 little kids (11 months and 3 years), so we had to clean the room ourselves in order to feel good. The owner is quite friendly, however after eating more than 1 croissants at breakfast he charged us an extra breakfast for each day... The location is excellent, it is on the pedastrian street of the city with excellent restaurants, it is quiet and 5 minutes walk from the sea.
Typical very cheap French hotel. No lift and had to carry my suitcase up 6 flights of stairs while the (male) staff looked on. Nice to have a kettle and sweet balcony overlooking the street.. Great position, but could hear the tv from room next door and all the conversation and birps etc ! They were Italian, my TV was in French and I am UK. Earplugs needed. Also could smell the smokers through the very thin walls.
This is a surprisingly good hotel. The location is excellent and the manager/receptionist is friendly and helpful. The services available at the hotel are limited, but it is in close proximity to many restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy and so on.
Very good value for money but the rooms are small and basic. The staff are very friendly. There is a great choice of Cafe's just out the door to eat breakfast al fresco. Get the no 98 bus from the airport, runs every 20 mins, costs 4 euro, get off at Albert 1. We loved Nice and this was very central- easy walking distance to the promenade, old town etc. It might be a bit noisy if you wanted to get an early night as the surrounding restaurants are busy till after midnight but there is no pounding music from discos or bars. All in all a pretty good base.
Great location in the middle of tourist friendly quiet pedestrian area of Nice; cafés, restaurants, bars and shops just next door. Friendly personnel.
Value for money hotel - well located and pleasant, helpful staff. not for the fussy as a bit tired in terms of decor but clean and tidy.
Small hotel in great location. Rooms are small with the basics. Bathrooms are clean and owners are very nice and quite helpful.
The hotel personnel are the best. They are considerate, helpful and personable. This hotel is in a great location in the heart of action.
Staff were friendly and spoke english. Great location. Plenty of shops and restaurants on the doorstep and the beach/promenade was approximately 5 minute walk away.
This hotel is in a great location - in a pedestrianised street full of resturants, and just one block from the beach and casino. Ask for a room with a front balcony, then you can sit on your balcony and sip wine whilst you watch the people moving around below - as we did! The room is in need of refurbishment, but is good for the price.
The location is superb, but if your room is on the fith floor and you have a heavy suitcase your're in trouble, there is no elevator.
The place of the hotel is really very central. The moment you step out the hotel you are faced with the active and attractive life of the city. A city that doesn't sleep. It is also very near to the beach. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and polite.
The most friendliest service in Nice!!! Excellent location, all the bars, restaurants, shops and beach just outside the main door.
Excellent value for money. In the heart of the city, yet quiet, safe and cosy.
