Ideally situated at 1 minute of the Duomo... Highly recommmended.
Single bed room with all the facilities for a pleasent stay
Double room with twin or double bed, modern style with all the facilities for a pleasent stay.
Not easy to find but close to attractions. A bit far away from the SMN station. The man in the front desk is rude and did not want to offer help. Breakfast is good and price is OK. The double bedroom is a bit too smal for a 4-star hotel.
This hotel doesn't deserve 4 stars. But for the 60 EUR/night offer it was certainly good value for money.
For somewhere to sleep in a great location this place ticks all the boxes. Not flash, but value for money and comfortable, and I'm pretty fussy. Highly recommended.
The room was ok. The location of the hotel is fantastic. I recommend.
Depending upon luck u can get a good or an avergae room. Rooms are clean, breakfast is average, location is fantastic, pricing is good.
This is a superbly located hotel and I would recommend it wholeheartedly
The location, a hundred metres or so from the Duomo, is brilliant, but it does mean that rooms overlooking the street can be noisy.
Fenice Palace would get 10 out of10 for location ideally situated for absolutely everything. Hotel bar only open 6pm - 10.00pm and not properly staffed - hotel breakfast was only adequate if later than 9am there was no hot food left and they would not cook any more also fruit nearly all gone. Hotel rooms although clean needed a complete refurbishment especaially the ensuite. However as said the location is obviously what you pay for.
Serviceable hotel, albeit a bit tired. I would not categorize this as a four-star hotel, as described.
After staying there I couldn't help feel that you were only really paying for the location. The staff were great, but the room was nothing special, neither was the bathroom. The view was of a building across the street, it was a large room but for the price, over £120 for 2 nights in march; i felt this was overpriced.
Situation of this hotel excellent as regards sightseeingg in Florence. Reception super-excellent, staff on front desk most helpful, obliging, very warm.Any request we made was responded to immediately.
The staff were helpful and cheerful. We were given a room away from the main road, it was quiet and just what we needed. Location is excellent a block away from the Duomo. I would not hesitate to use the Fenice Palace Hotel again.
Excellent location, good price/quality relation
Breakfast and location was good. The room was a disappointment. 2nd floor, dark almost no daylight against a shaft (the "back yard"). When I came there was a bad odor but the staff was helpfull and it vanished.
Centrally located on the doorstep of Duomo. It is just a short easy walk from the station and very easy to find. The staff were all very attentive. The hotel itself is a little tired, some strange smells and a little damp in places. That said, the staff, the location and the pricing make this a good base for exploring Florence, a beautiful city!
unable to connect to bigpond [Australian ISP] using the hotel internet.
