Fenix Inn Melaka

A good clean budget hotel with very secured parking with cctv and very good service with car jockeys and it's complimentary. Only thing is for me as I had to stay for a week on work, my luggage was rather heavy to carry up to the 2nd floor room. I had to struggle myself with no one to help me. Maybe it is not a problem for a man, but probably not many women travel alone on work like I do perhaps? Still I would prefer to have a better experience than that. However, a very secured place to stay especially for women who travel alone like me. The deluxe room was new and very simple, but spacious enough. I like because it has a window (I'm claustrophobic if without one!) and the small flat screen tv is fine as there are reasonable choices of channels. Don't mind to stay again but I probably will ask for the lowest floor if I have to stay many days!! Convenient to just walk to the malls too!!

Location is good if you want to go shopping but not so ideal for sight seeing. No lift, so can be a hassle for the elderly. Hotel has 5 floors in total. Wanted to stay one more night but due to no aviliability online, had to pay RM13 more than online price.

Good location, room OK, clean and do not forget to request for "room with window"

The hotel staff is very polite and helpful. Its very near to the shopping area and also very convenient to go anywhere.The rooms are spacious and clean.

The service rendered was excellent.For a budget hotel it is totally good.On the hindside, there is no mini fridge and cupboard to store our drinks and clothes.With two kids in tow w/o a lift is quit dangerous as the stairs are quite steep.Love the parking so much as we need not worry of our car getting stolen as CCTV is there to monitor no forgeting the car jockey itself.I would like to say KUDDOS to Mr Ramli the car jockey who led the way when we wanted to eat the famous seafood in mrlaka in umbai.He really prove what excellent customer service is all about.he is a gem and goes the extra mile to help us a 1st time tourist to melaka.Not forgetting the male counter staff wo was ever so patient with my 100 questions about the where? and Why?s of Melaka.Never once i see an irritated look on his face with my neverending question.Overall a good experience.

Love the hotel. It's clean. Location wise is very strategic. Small but really comfortable and cozy room.

We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - easy access to food stalls and within easy walking distance to the historical section of Malacca.

Other than no lift facility available..location was very good No complains for budget hotel.its basically bed and rest with coffee,tea bags and towels thrown in.

The Inn is located near the mega malls, very convenient. There are 2 blocks, one with wired internet and one without where residents are given vouchers to use at the business center for internet. The reception agreed to change my stay to the wired room, but due to low connectivity I was not able to enjoy the wired connection throughout my whole stay, a great disappointment. Had to go to mega mall to get wireless internet connection. Other than that, stay was pleasant.
