Fernando III Hotel Seville Guest Reviews

3.8 out of 5

Decent hotel but a few noisy neighbours in other rooms. Water pressure in the shower a bit low sometimes and unpredictable temperature. Great location for the old part of Sevilla.

4.4 out of 5

The hotel is in one of the best spots in Seville. Walking distance to a number of sites, including the hop on hop off bus. There is a good tourist informations centre in a hotel along the road. Lots of places to eat. Staff in the hotel are not all that helpful. Small pool on the roof was welome in the heat.

20 Euro for parking- felt that was very high- especially in the off season.

Hotel I have used before. Service has always been excellent and friendly; better if you speak Spanish. Location in city centre excellent for sites and transport.

Overall very good hotel in excellent location with splendid rooftop pool. Decor in public areas is very Spanish, slightly dated, but for us this added to its charm. Rooms are pretty standard. One member of staff (manager?) was unhelpful when we asked for info on car hire - we asked again later (to one of his colleagues) and she booked it for us - very handy as we don't speak Spanish. We traveled as 2 adults and 2 children and were given interconnecting twin rooms (without asking) which was a nice surprise. Location is perfect for visiting main tourist attractions with many bars and restaurants right outside the hotel - plus a great, authentic flamenco show just a couple of minutes walk away. Rooftop pool was a great asset in heat of Seville summer - not huge but plenty of room to cool down in. Recommended.

A very convenient location, though quite difficult to reach by car if you don't know the city. The room, 304, on the third floor was facing the street, but there was surprisingly little noise from the street. The view was to the roof of the neighboring building, and you could watch the laundry drying in the hot sun. At the low season price of 70 euros + VAT, this double room would be a good deal, except for one important minus. The noise isolation is OK between the rooms but non-existent between the corridors and the rooms. As the floors are in the Sevillan style, made of marble, you hear every step and everything that is said in the corridors. If you happen to have Spanish neighbors (as we did) who use the corridor as a public space and as a continuation of their room, don't forget to pack your ear plugs. This would be a very nice and convenient hotel without this noise problem, and good price/quality in Sevilla at 70-90 euros.

Excellent Hotel, wonderful location - slap bang in the historic quarter, just 2 minutes walk to the cathedral!. Rooms are airconditioned, clean and come with a nice bathroom. The roof top swimming pool and bar give excellent respite from the Sevilla midday heat as well as a spectacular view of the city. Service was excellent - I left my cell phone in my room (stupid me!!), but the hotel are arranging to DHL it back to me as we speak. Very happy with choosing this hotel for my weekend in Sevilla.

Location and rooms are good, the only problem is you can follow the conversation in the other room. I was on a discount price, but for people that pay 200 euro the night ...

The room was great, overall our favourite hotel during our holiday in Andalucia (stayed at three hotels). Great location, as Santa Cruz is my favourite part of Sevilla.

We thought we had booked a double bedded room but on arrival we were given twin beds and were told that was all there was available as we were only there one night. The room was clean but rather dreary and shabby, considering it had had a make over in 2000. Also the blurb said that there would be a mini bar and a balcony - neither was in evidence but as we were not staying there long it wasn't a problem. Staff very friendly and helpful and location brilliant for sight seeing. Breakfast very disappointing - better to go across the road to one of the many respectable but cheaper restaurants instead.

This was a great location for all the central spots. The room was clean if a little basic, but it was very quiet and that was important. I would recommend this hotel highly for location.

Great hotel and when it is hot the pool on the roof is a saviour. Right near the sights and with a great tapas bar less than a hundred metres away this hotel was superb.

Lovely hotel, rooftop pool was fab - only downside from 8am when the tiled floor in the halls echoed everyone's doors closing as they went in and out for breakfast. OK if you arent as lazy as me! Valet parking also good.

A very good hotel. A bit noisy through to the tile floor halls and semiaggressive cleaning ladies :-) But all in all the best deal to get in Seville and with a marvellous rooftop pool. The staff was friendly and very helpful so the post further up about a rude staff was not ou experience at all. We stayed there for three days. Went away for 14 and came back for one more day. And all through they were excellent

The room was well appointed but on the small side. The staff were cheerful and efficient - concierge parking provided the return of my car within 10 minutes of it being requested. A great location for exploring Seville, being a 5 minute walk to The Giralda.

A good room in a quiet part of the hotel, even with the window open. Maid service excellent, and helpful. Reception formal and competent. The roof top patio is the best feature of the hotel and it is a great pity that it hasn't been developed for all year use. Convenient location for all Seville's attractions.
