Getting there:The Santa Maria Novella railway station is only 200 metres away. You can easily reach the hotel in a 5-minute walk: from Piazza della Stazione reach Piazza Santa Maria Novella. Take Via degli Avelli, walking along the left side of Santa Maria Novella church. Then, from Piazza di Santa Maria Novella, take Via Belle Donne, right in front of you.

Our room was very small, double bed more like a king single, but ok for one night. Breakfast was not much at all. Shared bathroom was not too bad, but would have been a waiting problem if hotel was full. Walking distance from Firenze main station. Staff were friendly.
We were given a room apposite the reception , some tiles in the room are loosed and because the cement support is not even underneath them , the pieces near the door tilted when stepped on and when my wife opened the door , it was stopped half way by this tilted tile and the door slammed onto my wife's face. The hotel owner is also a little stingy, we were trying to refill some plain water for 2 botels with the capacity of 250ml each during breakfast and was scolded by the person in-charge telling us not to take the water.
