"The only problem that I encountered was that it was a very noisy venue. Other guests could sit outside my room if they wished to smoke and so this is what happened. They not only had a smoke but drinks as well and chatted loudly with no consideration for others who may have wanted to sleep. This area made all noise resound and echoed. In future I would prefer to stay in another room not in this part of the hotel as all other facilites were fine." - Lynda Wennstrom

The Flagstaff City Inn is located in the CBD and approximately a 10 min walk through the beautiful Flagstaff Gardens. You will not need to drive as the free City Circle tram is nearby allowing you to visit all of Melbourne''''s famous attractions. Tour buses will pick you up and drop you off at the hotel for tours outside Melbourne.
We are only 20 minutes drive from the airport and only 700 m from Southern Cross Station (the Interstate Spencer Street Train and Bus terminal). 200 m to Victoria Market and 700 m to Etihad Stadium (Telstra Dome).

From Melbourne Tullamarine Airport, it is a 20 minute drive from the City Link free way. You will need to take the Dynon road exit, which becomes Spencer Street and then left onto Dudley Street.
A Taxi will cost approximately A$40.00 or alternatively the sky bus will drop you directly at the hotel (Mon to Friday 6am to 9:30 p.m. . Sat 7.30 am to 6 p.m. Sunday 7:30 am to 6 pm.) at a cost of A$16 one way or A$26 return |
