Flamingo Vallarta Hotel & Marina Puerto Vallarta

We have stayed here many times, as well as our family and friends. Tried other hotels but always come back here, will not even bother to look around anymore...this is a great place!

Yes, certainly it was great! I had compared prices, location & service before traveling. The hotel price was the best in town, calm & tranquility was much felt. The Marina location is distant from downtown, we rode the city bus @ .65 VS a taxi @6.00. The city buses are much cheaper than getting a taxi. The service was excellent by all staff members, Food is delicious! we enjoyed our stay!

Nothing fancy, just a basic hotel room with few amenities. A great place to stay before or after vacation waiting to fly in or out. Great restaurants nearby along the Marina.

Highly recommended as a short stay location. This is our second stay with them. We only did a one night stop over between our plane ride down to PV non-stop West Jet from Comox, B.C. before catching the bus to Melaque the next day. Older hotel but well kept, in a great location, close to the airport and bus depot. Clean comfortable room, quiet, and excellent staff on duty. Thank you to all of them.

The service and cleanliness were excellent. Front desk staff at all times were welcoming, helpful, happy and eager to assist with restaurants, taxis and general queries. The Marina was an excellent place to dine, shop and enjoy the waterside ambience. We have recommended your hotel to friends who will be staying there in early April. We look forward to staying again on future visits to Puerto Vallarta.

Great premises. Lovely breeze overlooking the Marina and lighthouse. Adored the palm trees. Steps to the promenade and good restaurants. A staff member went out of his way making a call to the central bus station for depart times to the Sierra Madres and explained how to get to the bus station by local bus. I had never been to PV before and appreciated all the help. I speak Spanish and English was well spoken there. The room was very tranquil and quiet allowing a great first night sleep. Stayed only 1 night in PV but would book again. Nice and close to the airport. I emailed Helder (an employee) at the hotel to let him know how pleased we were with the accomodations and service of the employees.

The rooms were good sized and clean. TV did not come with remote and was limited in number of channels, but not a big deal because why would you want to spend a lot of time in the room at this location? Location was great. Right on the marina within a $6.00 taxi or .50 cent bus ride to downtown area and a few minutes from public beaches. If you don't want to go downtown, there are a numerous quality restaurants along the edge of the marina. Clearly not as "upscale" as a lot of the Hyatt/Marriot, ect. chains, but well worth the cost.
