Flandrischer Hof Hotel Cologne

We went for the XMas markets, good location for a good price. Parking was available for 14 euro a day, we missed the street to the structure and just opted to use a public structure not far away for 17 euro a day. On a side note, if you go during the XMas markets, avoid rush hour like the plague. We drove from near Frankfurt to Koeln in 2 hours and spent an *additional* 1 hour to make the last 3km across the bridge.

Excellent Value for money with very nice service staff.

Spacious rooms, very clean, good service, lots of facilities, quiet hotel (although do expect some traffic noise when the room is located at the backside where the ring and the shops are, nothing too much though)

This hotel is centrally located and was within walking distance to the attractions and at christmas is near to many christmas markets a bonus.

Good hotel in a good location. Rooms were a little on the small side but this didn't matter as we only stayed for one night. The bathroom in my room was very old and in need of an update. Excellent breakfast.

Everything excellent about this hotel, except one possible small gripe - the pillows are bags of air and difficult to sleep on! But really, we were delighted with the hotel

Good hotel for a fair price

lots of stairs before reaching the elevator so not recommended for families with heavy luggage. Convenient location

Upon checking in, we were given a triple-bed room on the 8th floor and we had to walk up a flight of stairs to the first floor to use the lift which stopped at the 7th floor. Thanks to the helpful counter staff on duty who offered us a helping hand to carry our luggage up. Breakfast room is spacious and food served was abundant and satisfactory. Staff on duty were friendly and helpful. The only regret was guests were not provided with free-of-charge wireless internet access in the hotel and hair drier and refrigerator were not prrovided.

Difficulty to access our hotelroom with luggage because you first need to climb aprox. 15 stairway steps to arrive to level where elevator is located. No one there to help you with the luggage

This hotel is in a decent location and is probably most suited to companies booking for large groups. This is a much bigger hotel than it looks. The breakfast was pretty good the hotel restaurant was really a public bar/restaurant which was ok but not great. My only complaint would be the size of the room, it was small and the bathroom even smaller. I wouldn't make this hotel my first choice next time I'm in Cologne but if I am having trouble finding a decent hotel then this is a safe choice if you just need the basics.

Spot on location, within walking distance of many major sites and with easy access to the underground system. Staf very helpful and friendly. My (single) room was small but adequate

The only negative thing I could say was that we were on the 4th floor directly above the night club and on the main road.The noise from the club went on to well after 3am and the shouting in the street even later.I would stay there again but would insist on a room on the other side of the hotel. Apart from that, the hotel was excellent and I am recommending it to friends

good hotel with lively piano bar, plently choice for buffet breakfast. very helpful reception staff. close to 2 of the christmas markets. no tea/coffee making facilities in the room
