"Pretty run down but what do you expect for about 45 euro a night" - Anonymous
"This hotel wins for having the worst urine-smelling stairwell ever. The room seemed clean, but as soon as we entered the stairwell we had the terrible impression that it wasn't as clean as we thought. " - mairi beautyman
"Our stay in this hotel was pleasant enough, though the interior of the building could do with a bit of a cosmetic facelift. I noticed that the hotel is currently up for sale so perhaps any renovations will happen once a deal has been done.
The hotel is deceptively large inside and has quite a few corridors to navigate - I could imagine that if you were over for a boozy night out in Temple Bar then you might end up taking a wrong turn or two on the way to your room!
Rooms were fine, and the bathroom nice and clean. The location of the hotel is perfect for Temple Bar, but far enough away from the main pub area so that you aren't bothered by any drunken noise. It's also extremely handy for sightseeing as it's pretty much central and a stone's throw away from the Liffey." - Anonymous
"The hotel is in a poor state of repair and appears to be for sale. The dining room was out of action when we were there, so no breakfast was on offer." - Michael Marwick
