Hotel is good based on location and price. From the airport, there's an Airport Limousine bus that can take you straight to the road in Chongnyangni where the hotel is located and only about 10 minutes walk to the hotel. Bus fare is only Korean Won 10,000 and much cheaper than the taxi fare.
Positive: good location-about 5 min walk from Cheongnyangi metro, train, and bus stations; clean bedrooms and bathrooms; good hot water and heating systems; each room had a big wall-mounted plasma TV and a desktop with a very good broadband internet connection. Negative: Smallist bedroom and bathroom (we booked 3 rooms, a friend and I who are petite shared one of the larger rooms and it was barely big enough for us). The hotel do not actually provide in-hotel laundry service despite it being listed as one of the hotel's facilities (it took 2.5 days to get my pairs of jeans laundered out of the hotel). The staff speak very little English. Practice your phrasebook Korean if using this hotel. If you speak Mandarin, they will be able to provide a translator over the phone.
Let me start from the good points of the hotel: 1. Very cheap price (about £10 for a double bed room) with reasonable facilities 2. Superb location - in the central Seoul, and only 5 mins walk away from the underground. Also, there are many nice and cheap restaurants along the way. 3. Helpful and friendly staff. They speak good enough English. The respects that we are not very satisfied with: 1. There was no extra sheet between the duvet and the bedding sheet, so we kept some clothes on when sleeping, just in case... 2. The room was very small and dim. However, given the money paid, certain degree of unsatisfaction were kind of expected. Anyway, if you are short of cash and not fussy, Flower would be a wonderful choice for you.
Freaking awesome. The place does look a little run-down, but it's quiet, clean, well stocked with every room having a pc with Internet and a plasma screen tv. The front room service is top notch, and it is relatively easy to find and five minutes by foot to the local train station.
We rented two twin rooms on 12 December, 2010. Our family consist of elderly and children. They were all very happy spending a night over. Eagerly asking to be extended but we already had our flight ticket. Over all hotel staff are very friendly, can speak Mandarin and also pretty well English. Had assisted us in many many ways. Shall recomends to my friends back at malaysia. My son said this hotel is the best among so many hotel that we stay during our holiday at Korea. We have a very happy day staying there so hope the same to other too.
This hotel comes with big lcd tv, computer with internet access, soft bed...just the hot water is not function very well sometimes. I make a complaint in the front desk, and they ask technician to solve it the next day. The distance from cheongnangyi subway exit3 to hotel is a bit far, about 15 minutes walk. But along the way u may stop by to do shopping. Will recommend for anyone with tight budget.
For the value, I did not expect such good service. The owner Mr Yoo is a very humble and friendly person. Gives good recommendation for food, direction and where to visit. The rooms were clean. I would stay again and recommend this hostel to friends.
Good place to sleep. 5 minutes from the subway. Room with TV & PC. Just beware of noise (large street in front of the bulding).
It is definitelly good value with good service provided.
Very good hotel for this price. Clean and comfortably. Friendly staff but no one speaks English.
Not the best hotel but clean and Quite, with A/c and very hot watera computer in the room and a big T.V Screen
Nice place and would stay again. Little bit far from the metro (10 minutes) but no problem. take a Korean phrasebook as no one speaks English.
A nice little hotel about 10 minutes walk from the nearest metro station. It's a little bit tricky to find, so keep your eyes open for the name sign. Friendly staff, but almost no English spoken; Mandarin OK, though! Does not have a restaurant or and drinks/snack machines, though there are many restaurants and shops quite near. Stay again? yes, most certainly.
A very good budget hotel, well worth the money in comparison to other more expensive hotels. The room was faultlessly clean with a good shower room, large TV and internet. Only downside is the fact it was initially hard to find ( Cheongyangni subway exit 3 then walk straight for at least 10 mins, past the hospital on your right).
