Getting there:Drive out of the airport, follow road sign to FARO. Drive along the road until you find signs for PORTIMÃO. Road bends to the right to join the main road N125.This is a 4 lane road and continues for approx. 5 Kms, until the road divides at the new flyover junction. 250 meters before the road signs direct to you towards the IP1 and LOULÉ and ALMANCIL off to your right. KEEP OVER TO YOUR RIGHT and drive for 3,5 Km until the road signs direct you to ALMANCIL to the right. Turn to ALMANCIL and drive until first set of traffic lights. Turn left follow signs to VALE DO LOBO & follow the road to the right. Drive 3 Km until a T junction indicating Formosa Park to the right. Follow Formosa Park green color sign indicating 3 Km and then turn left. After turning drive until you see an arch saying VALE DO GARRÃO, drive over the arch until end of road turn right to PRAIA DO ANCÃO. Drive 300 meters and you’ll see Formosa Park on your right side.

Reception service provided and room service were really good. You do need a car to stay at this hotel. Had a great time here. The only down is the staff at the restaurant during breakfast. They were monitoring the quantity of custard pies (a typical Portuguese pie) you have. Absolutely ridiculous! They do not replace them when it is finished. Other thing they should be more careful about their comments in their native language as some of my guests speaks fluent Portuguese! If you do not understand the locals you will have a great time here.
An excellent base for families & small groups. Close by (500 metre forest walk) lovely sandy beaches, and to the golf in/around Quinta do Lago. Hotel restaurant worth a visit for an evening meal.
Simply the best we have stayed in for some time, quality of service, staff and food first class. Appartments large and spacicious, ideal and conveinint for golfers playing along this stretch or thise who just wish to chill out. There was a number of small children in the Hotel that only created minimum disturbance. Good swimming pools with limited garden area. Eight minute walk down to windy, sandy beach offering three good restaurants for lunch time food and drinks. Would certainly return.
EXCELLENT HOTEL WHICH WE HAVE USED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE, WE LOVE STAYING HERE EVERYTHING IS PERFECT.
A four star hotel with six start hospitality. Lovely place to stay with very helpful and friendly staff. Superb location for a 'Little Hideaway', can not wait to return.
