The Forte Dongshan villa complex is designed by local son and famous architect Huang shengyuan. Nestled along the Dongshan River channel, it is spread across a verdant island and peninsula connected by stone bridges.
Outside, as far as the eye can see, the serene landscape cleanses your mind of city worries. As the interplay of light and water entertain you, time slows to the gentle rhythm of the countryside breeze. The nostalgic villas are decorated with many Taiwanese architectural elements such as colorful wooden French doors, brick and aggregate walls, and grey tiled roofs. Traditional wooden sliding doors, stone floors, and wooden furnishings are mixed with modern conveniences to provide a pleasant interior. Additionally, ecologically sustainable features like grey water reuse and natural drainage pools help lessen human impact on the beautiful rural surroundings.
