"Swimming pool & sauna were the absolute 'hits' in Homduang Hotel.
Breakfast buffet would have been OK, but many items were not refilled within 10-20 min waiting period. Coffee Shop was empty every evening and you would have expected thus fast service. It took exactly 1 hour to get the food after ordering. Staff (reception / housekeeping / at the pool / consierge) polite & efficient. Location is odd! You need a taxi to go wherever. "The finalpayment was unpleasant. The invoice, received from otel Club, stated the price in USD, but they want me to pay in Thai Baht, for which they used a ridiculous exchange rate. When I insisted on paying the remaining balance in USD, they said that they had no change in USD and would need to give me the change in Thai Baht, again using a ridiculous exchange rate. This was a very unpleasant experience and it took me 30 minutes until they agreed at least to use an exchange rate that was closer to the official baqnk rate of the same day." - Ingo Neu
