Getting there:
Take the A8 from Edinburgh Airport through Corstorphine to Haymarket Terrace, stay in the middle lane and follow signs for A8 into Edinburgh City Centre. Carry on to Shandwick Place and follow signs for A702. You will see the Rutland Hotel on your right; at this point make sure you take the right hand lane to turn right onto Lothian Road. Once on Lothian Road get into the left hand lane, continue straight ahead and follow signs for A702. At the very top of Lothian Road/Earl Grey Street, there is a large junction, with three forks, (the Bank of Scotland is on your left), take the right hand lane into Home Street. When on Home Street get into the right hand lane, and turn right onto Gilmore Place, the Kings Theatre will be on your left and Celeste Beauty Spa on the right. Drive for some 100 metres, you will see Gilmore Place church on the left, immediately opposite this is the right turning onto Lower Gilmore Place, from here please follow signs for the EQ-2 apartments.

Check-in Procedure:
EQ2 has an on site reception which is open from 8am until 10pm (5pm on Sundays). Should you expect to arrive after these times, please contact the apartments. Guests are required to provide photographic identification which matches the credit or debit card whis is being used to pay for the accommodation. Please note that check-in time is from 2:00pm. Should you expect to arrive earlier you are more than welcome to store your belongings with us until your apartment is ready.

Car parking:
Car parking is based on a first come first served basis and cannot be reserved. Car Parking is charged at £6 per day(£8 from 1st April 2010).

Child Policy:
One child under the age of 12 is permitted free using existing bedding

Excellent facilities - relatively new in good condition, very good location in relation to Edinburgh attractions, secure basement garage but unfortunately expensive overall.

Have stayed here several times - it is a good base for business users. Can seem a bit off the track but in fact centrally located. The location is ideal for a city centre base - no traffic noise and very little pedestrian noise too. Very noisy early morning carpet cleaning in the hallway and being phoned up by reception 5 minutes after the due checkout (making me go back into room I was exiting) were only two niggles. They seem to have stopped leaving breakfast items in the fridge - no great hardship as there are several minmarkets nearby including a Sanisburys and Co-op. Pleasnat, reasonably kitted out, anonymous accomodation near Edinburgh city centre at a reasonable rate (for the UK).

Have stayed here several times - it is a good base for business users. Can seem a bit off the track but in fact centrally located. Pleasantly appointed service apartments a bit off the main drag but at the definitely up and coming Fountain Park edge of town. No real facilities on site but within walking distance of shops and bars and City Centre. Friendly reception staff.

Pleasant,modern, anonymous service flats - poor facilties locally re shops etc but this may shape up once the nearby building works (more flats( complete. Handy for Haymarket rail station and within walking distance of city centre. More for tourists and Festival than business folk.
