Train: Travelling time: approx. 15 minutes. Price: approx. DKK 21. Directions: Take the local train for Elsinore. The train stops at "Hovedbanegården" (The Central Railway Station), approx. 10 minutes' walk from the hotel. Bus: Travelling time: approx. 30 minutes. Price: approx. DKK 21. Directions: Bus no. 250 S stops at Rådhuspladsen, approx. two minutes' walk from the hotel. From Copenhagen's Central Railway Station to the hotel Taxi: Travelling time: approx. 5 minutes. Price: approx. DKK 50. Credit cards accepted. Bus: Travelling time: approx. 5 minutes. Price: DKK 14. Directions: From Bernstoffsgade near Tivoli Gardens' side entrance, take a no. 16 bus going to Rådhuspladsen (departures every 10 minutes or so). Child Policy:The hotel does not have cots or extra beds, and it is not suitable for children.
10 years ago this hotel was probably a great hotel. But today it could use a renovation, especially the carpets. The rooms have no room to place your luggage, there where spiderwebs in the hallway and lots of minor details we had problem with. That said, it is an O.K. hotel. Nice staff, quite surroundings and a perfect location. We decided that location was more important than luxury so we picked this hotel. I would rent a room here again for the right price.
Very creative designs of rooms but furnitures are showing signs of wear and tear. Location is not bad, not far from central station, Stroget and some attractions. Overall a good stay.

We loved our stay, and we recommend Hotel Fox to anyone who enjoys a relaxed and warm place to get back to at the end of the day. And another thought: if you're scared to get a room you're not fond of because of their policy (you can't book a specific room), just e-mail them about it and say which rooms you really don't want, and your 3 or 4 favorites. Be flexible and nice and you'll get it back :)
