Getting there:FROM M6 motorway - Take junction 31 from the M6 following the signs for Blackburn/Clitheroe and A59 - At Swallow Hotel, turn left at lights onto the A59 heading for Clitheroe - At roundabout, go straight ahead, keeping on the A59 for Clitheroe - Continue on A59 for approx. 8 miles - At next roundabout, take 2nd exit for Whalley and Billington - We are approx. half a mile on the right hand side after the church FROM M65 motorway - Take junction 7 from M65 following signs for Clitheroe - At lights, turn right following signs for Clitheroe - At next lights, turn left onto A672 following signs for Clitheroe - Continue along the A672 for approx. 4 miles going through two sets of lights - At 3rd set of lights, turn left following signs for Whalley - At mini roundabout, turn left following signs for Billington - We are approx. a mile and a half on the left hand side

Lovely hotel could hav done with a few more bits in room as a 4* hotel, like shower cream & the usual things one would expect. Also limited sugar or milk for tea. My only gripe was that on checking in I had no real explanation about the health club or key code or anything & it took 3 trips between front desk & spa to get in & go back get a towel & at that stage I said do I need anything else? Nothing was answered, but I had no locker key!! Just a basic hello the bar is over there etc etc would have been nice, but well worth a stay at head bar man really sweet, food lovely if not rather small a la carte portions! Thanks for the enjoyable night.
found the whole hotel to be very nice, friendly staff, and decnt service. Overall I'd not worry about recommending friends and family to stop here
Very large suite with King Size bed & separate Dressing Room.
Reception and check out was excellent. However, the general impression was the presentation was looking a bit 'tired'. Whilst the room and general areas were spotlessly clean, the decor and fitted bedroom furniture looked dated. The bathroom was spacious, but the loo seat was loose, black mold to shower ceiling, and grouting needed attention. Window cill, and window surrounds also needed some maintenance. A good sleep, with no traffic noise, and breakfast was excellent.
The Clarion Hotel & Suites Blackburn needs to be up-dated, rooms & building facade need a facelift. Accomm & services were average, but evening meal & overall pricing of our stay was good.
Very friendly staff. Extremely helpful, smiling... Nothing was too much trouble.

Very courteous and obliging staff. Excellent food. Quiet and relaxing. Nice location. Large rooms were a bonus. Very good value for money. Was on business, but would return with family.
