pretty good hotel with considerable price :)

The room was generally well kept and clean. The place is quite noisy as far as hearing anyone and everyone in the halways coming and going. In that sense there isn't so much privacy and sleep is likely to be disturbed. The location is definitely a part of Singapore with a lot more 'character' which makes it more affordable. There's many local eateries close at hand. The metro system is about a 10-15 min walk away. Overall quite good for a quick stopover if convenience for accessing downtown isn't of concern.

Have stayed previously with another Fragrance Hotel chain opted to try a fresh one as was closer to where my wife and I had friends. Great hotel in a busy area walking distance to local MRT, bus service. We walked to local eatries for our breakfasts and other meals, great choice of asian foods. Will be happy to go back again.

Surprisingly good hotel. From other reviews we were expecting a possibly grungy hotel in a dubious area, but found the room to be nice and clean and with usable facilities. The area has many low-cost places to eat nearby. It is a 10 minute walk to the MRT station to get access to most parts of Singapore. The hotel is definitely OK for a (Singapore) budget price.

Overall the room is clean. But the toilet absolutely need an update. The location is about 10min walk away from the Kallang MRT. It's located at the Red Light district, however, we don't see any impropriate people walking in and out from the hotel. So it's still ok for family with children to stay at this hotel. There is no rest room at the lobby of the hotel. The receptionist are not very friendly to the guests after you checked out from the hotel.

The service was excellent as the cleaning ladies made an effort to provide us with extra towels,water and blankets as we had a child with us.It made us feel at home. The only limiting factor was that the room was very small and we adviced that you choose a bigger room if you have children.

We have stayed in this hotel many times. Good value for money, always clean. Our last stay was in November 2010. Will stay again. Don't be afraid of the location, never any problems. Hotel staff always helpful.

No complaint. The facilities and the cleanliness are good and suitable with the amount i pay. However, it is not suitable for family with small kid.

The room is bigger than the last place we stayed in Singapore, giving us ample room to move around. The hotel is tucked in a quiet side lane of a busy main street, offering us quiet moment to rest while providing easy access to a lot of nice food to choose from. The hotel is located close to bus stand while MRT station is about 10 minutes' away on foot. The location is good as it is close to the city.

Not the most pleasant stay. We checked in for one night only and were surprised to find that the only bedding provided was 2 pillows and a bottom (fitted) sheet covering a plastic mattress - no blankets or doona was given. We changed rooms thinking that this was not quite right and were surprised to find that all rooms were like this and management confirmed that this was the norm. One of worst nights sleep ever.

This hotel have a good location. It's not too far from mrt station. However the room is small but the service and cleanliness is good.

I stayed in your hotel in short time and I felt very comportable with location and price. The hotel is very clean the facilities is good enough, if you could provide breakfast, it will be very good.

It looked like the rooms had been refurbished and were very clean. The aircon unit had physical damage with the swing vent not working and was missing. The filters smelled of smoke. One of the best i have stayed at.

When I first saw the pictures of the hotel room in the internet, I thought it was too small for a couple and only fit for one person, so I was a bit hesitant to book, but i was wrong because when I saw the hotel room personally it was nice and good enough for a small family. The staff even the housekeeping attendants were very accommodating and always smile every time they approach their guests. All in all the hotel is nice, clean and very affordable. I'll surely recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives who will visit Singapore in the future.

Good value for money, although located in the red-light area of Geylang. Not so ideal for families with children as prostitutes parade the area in the evenings and makes it quite embarrassing to explain to growing children what goes on. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Good location, good price, plenty of eating places and close to the city and MRT. We have stayed here at least seven times.

Very HARD beds, made our backs ache. Also, beds under linens covered in plastic, making them very uncomfortable to sleep in, as they became very wet.

Good Hotel and easy to go.
