Don't be put off by this hotel being in a red light district. You will not be hassled in any way shape or form. Singapore is very safe.
I have stayed at this hotel with rooms on both sides. The glazing seems thick enough to almost obliterate street noise.
All up, very good value for money and easily accessible from Changi Airport via train for a bargain price of under SGD$2 each way to Aljunied MRT station, then about a six minute walk, crossing Sims Road, and walking south down to Geylang Road.
