"Initially we were allocated room number 25, the worst room I have ever encountered. Cracked window panes looked over the noisy main road, grimy soft furnishings and a leaking toilet combined to produce the most dispiriting environment imaginable. After I complained we were given the key to number 38, a clean and bright room at the rear of the building. Renovations were obviously in progress. The staff were actually pleasant and helpful, but it is hard to eradicate that first impression." - Caroline Anderson
"Excellent location moments from the Town Hall ("Hotel de Ville" and metro of same name), beautiful breakfast in a charming underground cavern, the rooms are a little tired so you may find it "quaint", but they're clean & comfortable, double glazed (important in Paris !), well ventilated & had a room safe. Easy walk to the Marais, Pompidou, Notre Dame, Opera & Louvre and adjacent metro makes the rest of Paris easily accessible." - Ross Simpson
"The hotel was fine. The room was small and the bathroom was pretty funny. The shower was very very small, to the point of being absurd. But the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good (croissants, other pastries, cold meats, sausages and eggs). The location is amazing. Just a short walk to many of the great sites. And for being on a major street, we found the hotel to be pretty quiet. " - Jose Guajardo
"We had a good time. The heater in the bathroom was not working, but who cared, the room was clean and service was nice. Breakfast was wonderful and included in the price. We would definitely stay there again!!!" - Anonymous
