Fraser Place Central Seoul

After hours of searching online for a decent hotel in Seoul I stumbled across this gem. I've never heard of Fraser hotels before and I was skeptical. I read many reviews and saw only positives so I decided to book. It was seriously the best hotel I've ever stayed in and my gf agrees. It's bc it's not really a hotel, it's more of an apartment. Our place was HUGE. We had a 1 bedroom place with 2 full bathrooms, a full kitchen, full size fridge with a freezer, washing machine, living room, 2 TVs, 2 phones, dining table for 4, way too much closet space, with a king size bed. If you hate small hotel rooms you have to stay here. Plus their gym/pool/jacuzzi is really nice too. The only negatives is that none of the taxi drivers know where it is, its a 5-8 min walk to the nearest subway (it's really not far at all), and the shower door wasn't sealed well so the towel on the ground was always soaked. But other than that it was amazing. Best of all it was almost half the price of the big name hotels. We stayed here 5 nights and I saved almost $500 compared to a big name hotel I was about to book. My gf and I both agreed we're not staying anywhere else when in Seoul again.

Clean, spacious, modern and well furnished rooms alone make it worthwhile for business and casual travelers who are looking to spend a lot of time in Seoul's Gang-Book area. It's actually a lot more convenient than staying at most four- or five-star hotels. The location is a bit tricky, but the subway stops aren't that far and taxis are easy to find. The cab drivers will not know the building by its name, so you need to remember some landmarks around the area (e.g., The Police Headquarters, Joong-Ang Daily Newspaper Building, etc.). Bottom line: great for short or long-term stays at a very reasonable price.

Took Bus No. 6005 to Fraser Place which took 1 hour 20 mins, alighted at the door step and someone from the front desk came to help me with my luggages, i checked into my apartment in less than 5 mins. I was impressed with the facilities in my studio apartment. Whatever you'd require in a household, they provided. Their cleaners, serviced man were helpful and polite! Breakfast was similar throughout my stay, on the 1st day, i wasnt aware that i hv to register before joining the breakfast queue, a lady in coat came after me in a reprimanding tone. All the staff i met at Fraser place speaks a little english... i am impressed!

Once we managed to find Fraser Place we were very pleased with our accommodation. Website should state leave exit 10 at City Hall and proceed directly up road to highway intersection where Fraser Place is located down slipway. The facilities are excellent including restaurant, pool, rooftop gardens, lounge / bar area and library. However our booking was for one double and 1 twin room and we actually got 1 double and 1 single. The breakfast is not included and is not particularly appetizing! Would definitely consider next trip to Seoul.

We enjoyed our stay in Fraser Place Central Seoul for 3 nights. The location and facilities were excellent. However we were disappointed there were no designated non-smoking rooms. Non-smoking rooms are essential for non-smoking guests. We hope to see there will be non-smoking rooms available in the future.

Excellent spot to stay in Central Seoul. A few mins walk to Seoul Plaza and City Hall Metro. Great connection for the Airport Bus (right outside the door). Quiet, spacious and very clean.

The staff there were extremely rude and there were many complaints towards them during my 10 day stay there. During our interaction with the Operations Manager, we were extremely displeased and he had no sense of respect or courtesy towards us. It had truly ruined our stay there, and throughout the ten days, we had to face bad rude service there.

Good central location. Helpful staff. Nice restaurant. Nice room. Nice Facilities.

The Hotel/apartment was excellent, very large, clean and well accommodated, great pool spa gym and a number of great conference and meeting spaces in the building. Location was OK, near a subway, Seoul station and a short $5.00 taxi drive to Insadong, though taxis didn't seem to know the place and called for directions. Good buffet breakfast and good coffee shop, all up great. Only 2 negatives, couldn't use my computer, poor connection? and in the larger apartments would expect a bigger bathroom with a bath !!!

very nice place with large rooms and the living room was very big!! Came with the all appliances you need in the kitchen. two bath room in a single bed room suite was good .

I can definately recommend, both for short and longer stays, for couples and families.

Being a newer residence hotel, the rooms and facilities were clean and modern. Comfortable beds and newer appliances were nice. I had a problem with the elevator key-cards a couple times (de-magnetized?) but staff always on hand to help. Well worth the price considering the Insa-Dong Fraser Residences are almost twice the price.

i had an excellent stay very spacious rooms, good service and great facilities. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Seoul next month

I was completely satisfied with this hotel and its friendly staff. I can warmly recommend it to everyone. As it is situated in the city center, it might be a little noisy from the heavy traffic. I don´t think I have ever been so happy with a hotel stay as I was at this hotel.
