Front Maritim Hotel Barcelona

The "Express Breakfast" is very very poor (no bread or butter included).

very friendly staff, we were their for three days in all. unfortunately every evening we came back to our room we found they key would not work and it was quite a long journey back to the front desk. after it happening twice it got a bit annoying.

There were 10 people in my party and they all enjoyed their stay at the Front Maritim Hotel. The fact that the hotel was only a 5 minute walk to the beach made it even better. The open topped tour bus stopped just around the corner which was also very convenient. I would recommend this hotel if you wanted to combine a city break with a bit of sunbathing. However, I would recommend that you ladies keep a careful watch on your handbags, as two of our party had their bags snatched in the Ramblas area.

We loved the hotel and our visit to Barcelona. The hotel and the rooms are very modern, comfortable and a great location. Highly recommend.

The location is far from the airport

Quiet location within easy reach of city centre and Diagonal Mar shopping experience. excellent choice of eateries near by.

Room was a bit small, but tidy and not stuffy like many hotel rooms

Handy for the metro, close to the beach, very friendly and helpful staff - will certainly stay there again.

Very close to the CCIB Convention Center and the beach. Nice walk to the Olympic Harbour. To get to city center (Rambla), you have to go by bus or metro.

this hotel is off the beaten path...but taxis or public transportation can be taken to see any of the wonderful sights of barcelona..... no hotel is located in the the heart of sights, since barcelona sights are numerous and in various locations....therefore taxi or public transportation will almost always be needed. the hotel restaurant offers a substantial breakfast buffet, and varied menus for lunch and dinner. there is a beach a block away with a wonderful path for walking along the beach. on each floor is a case of FREE cold bottles of water. enjoy this lovely hotel !!!!!!!!!

It is our opinion that the Maritim is not a 4* rated hotel.

Excellent hotel. Recommended to friends who loved it too. The service, facilities & cleanliness were all fantastic. Only complaint would be not enough wardrobe and drawer space and no mirror in the bedroom. Will be back next year.

Very good hotel. Watch out for the bag snatchers in the area though.

If you like to be away from the city centre and close to a beach then this hotel is ideal. About 20 min walk to centre along the side of the beach. Great breakfast and free bottled water.

Hotell is nice. Take the bus into town rather then the subway. The bus is no. 41 from town at placa de Universitat and it stop on the road behind the hotel (Passeig del Taulat). Make sure you don't get a roomum with a connecting door to the room next door cause they are not very soundproof.

Nice hotel with good facilities, room was small but functional as expected from previous reviews but more than adequate for most people. Very friendly, only downpoint being that the phone didn't work for the entire 4 day stay.

Located by the convention center Diagonal Mar, not in central Barcelona.
