"Why this property, previously Rebar Crown and Holiday Inn, deserves the upmarket status of Crowne Plaza is a mystery to me. It certainly wouldn't encourage many to try the other Crowne Plaza's. Rundown rooms but the worst is the F&B: the roomservice "menu B" was so bad I couldn't eat any of it and the restaurant downstairs serves such an uninspiring breakfast that you would never go there for another meal. Add to that the fact that I had to insist on paying the roomcharges on which I only paid a deposit this time...... In fact, I should have walked away.
