Future Inn Cardiff Bay

The Future Inn was an excellent choice for my stay in cardiff, lovely, large, clean hotel near to the bay with excellent facilities. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Fantastic!

I was there as an entrant for the 10K BUPA race. Hotel allowed me to return to use facilities before checking out. Very helpful. Thank you. However expensive race!

We enjoyed our stay in this cofortable, modern hotel. We got a good deal on a Kingsize suite through [your website] and it was very pleasant. The room temperature was easy to control with regard to both heating and air conditioning - a real bonus - and opening windows too!. The restaraunt was airy with modern decor and furnishings and the food was good. Make sure that you get down to breakfast at weekends by 10am as even though breakfast is served until 10:30 they do clear away quite promptly - probably because they start serving lunch from 11:30 on Sundays!! It is a short walk from Cardiff Bay (about 10 minutes) and you can walk into Cardiff centre in about 30 minutes - the castle is worth a visit. All in all, good base for a weekend break or for a business stay.

Thought that breakfast should have been included in the price of a room.

Located near the refurbished Cardiff Bay area but a little removed from the main city centre. A clean modern hotel with spacious bedrooms and a good valued breakfast.

I loved the Future Inn - it's rated as a 3* but seems more like a 5*! Huge bed, window, and shower - and great integrated TV/computer. Close to Cardiff Bay so great location (not so good if you want to be right in the city centre) and very modern. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Modern, well appointed hotel, located adjacent to Cardiff Bay attractions, providing facilities and service above average relative to its prices.Walking distance from city centre, although there is a frequent bus service. Spacious rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Pre-booking breakfasts on arrival saves you some cash.

To take full advantage of location I personally think another bar area on the roof would be great for summer months.

The overall impresion is very good, with the room rate within a affordable range. But was quite dissapointed by the £10 p.p. charged for a very very modest breakfast...

Excellent hotel. The room was a good size; it was also clean and modern. The room rate was very reasonable. We were pleasantly surprised to find free internet access, a quality TV, a dedicated sound system and a good selection of pay-per-view movies in the room too. I hope Future Inn continue to expand to other cities nationwide.

Staff always efficient, friendly and courteous. All round a very good hotel.

it was wonderful, all the staff were friendly and helpfull the place is new so it was all clean and nice the rooms were comfortable so what more do you want i would only say that the room service could go on later that 11pm

Very new hotel with almost every modern convenience. Outstanding in just about everyway. Helpful front desk staff. Good location near many restaurants.

Excellent. Very relaxing. Fantastic room and breakfast. Everything first class. (One comment. I was having a bath and I had not discovered exactly how the taps' system worked. Unknown to me I had switshed the taps from bath to a shower and freezing cold water. It went all over my hair. No problem with that - but had the water been boiling hot, it would have been a different story.)

The hotel was very clean and comfortable and located near the town centre. It takes about 25 - 30 mins to walk into the town centre, or there are regular taxis that can take you into town (approx. 5 min drive). (Reception can order a taxi for you if required). Would certainly stay there again. The resturant food is very good. Also there is a multplex very near by offering a multiscreen cinema, casino, bars and other resturants.

Great hotel, good location, new and clean. However the receptionists were not friendly at all. they didn't offer a non-smoking room. If it was not available at least they could have told us.
