I chose this hotel for the location and reasonable price. The room was bigger than I expected with a balcony and bay view. However, the pool is tiny, more suitable for children and closes early. The breakfast selection was good, it's a shame the service wasn't so good. The staff appeared to attend to some people frequently yet ignore others. Tips that were given to waiters by guests probably had something to do with this! I was also baffled when I took what I thought was a boiled egg, cracked it and realised it was raw! The waiter gave a poor excuse that it was for people who wanted an egg cooked!! Doh! There was no mini bar price list in the room, when I asked the room service attendant for one he merely told me to ask housekeeping. I'd hardly call that attentive service. I wouldn’t say one gets value for money at this hotel. I paid about the same price for a hotel in Cebu, which was miles better and merited its star rating. I think G Hotel is bog standard and more like a 2 star world rating.

G Hotel is nice,clean and cozy(suite room where we're billeted) maybe bec.it's a new hotel (or newly renovated?) We enjoyed spending our New Year's Eve watching fireworks display at our room's veranda. I just want HotelClub to be more specific with the type of room the client is requesting. There should be follow-up and coordination with the hotel.I don't know whose lapses it is As in my case I made a reservation for two twin sharing beds. I was given one executive suite instead.So the four of us ended sharing one bed with my older son at the sofa. G Hotel is fully booked,so we don't have any choice. The Hotel also run out of buffet breakfast, New Year's day. So we have to go back to our room and wait. Otherwise I'l give the hotel overall good rating.and your(HotelClub) reasonable price!

Loved the interior design and accessories of the general areas, i.e. the lobby and the cafe. The room was spacious and comfortable with the basic requirements found in a 4-star hotel.

Awesome place! P... on the roof, where the pool was, treated us like royalty! E... and his crew were amazing cleaning our room and the front desk to the laundry person were all top notch people and went the extra mile to see our stay was a memorable one. The ONLY thing wrong was there was NO hot shower water! I would recommend paying the extra for this hotel. Views of the bay and free wireless internet! They brought chocolate to the room at night, and newspapers in the morning...A+ in my book! Stay here, you won't be sorry.

The staff was very friendly and rooms were clean. The roof bar/ cafe is nice for a late night beer. The breakfasts were very good. My only complaints would be that 1) the swimming pool had way too much chlorine. My eyes hurt all the next day. 2) they were very inconsistent about leaving amenities in the room (like coffee, water, etc) and then they tried to charge me for things I never used. Although when I explained they were nice and didn't press it.

The hotel faces Manila Bay and is walking distance to the Cultural Centre, Harbour Square and cafes on Adriatico St. We had a side view of the famous Manila sunset from our balcony. Rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel staff friendly and helpful esp in securing taxis with honest drivers. Breakfast was good with a selection of asian and western food although the selection was limited.

Newly refurbished facility in heart of Malate/Ermita that is above average for a tourist class hotel. It was clean and the staff helpful. The drawbacks would be poor water pressure in the shower and some noise from the street.

The manager, Yuri, gave us a great welcome at this "Boutique" hotel right on Roxas Blvd. --Manila Bay. The hotel was full; our reserved room was having a plumbing problem. Yuri apologized and asked if it was OK to put us up for a night in a more expensive room in a nearby high-rise casino hotel. "Sure, why not?" A Limo whisked us to the larger sister hotel, "Waterfront" where we got a wonderful view room with wine, fruit-bowl ,etc. Breakfast at the Waterfront was a buffet big, well done and varied . When the G Hotel problem was fixed next day, we got picked up & upgraded to wonderful water-view suite no extra charge. The staff was great. G hotel was brand new & immaculate...the G Hotel is furnished in Italian modern style. Good free breakfast. We are not always kind in our reviews. I've written scathingly negative reviews of hotels that were twice the price, and not 1/4 as good. The "G" gets an A+!
