Location Hotel is located at west part of Taichung City, By car take 10 minutes to highway interchange, 2 hours to international airport. 20 minutes to train station . In 20 minutes walk will reach 3 shopping malls and night market. Rooms Rooms and bathroom are medium in size but nicely decorated.All rooms equipped flat screen TV, board selection of amenities iand .nternet access. It's cozy but fashionable. Restaurant There is a buffet restaurant in 2nd floor. Exterior It's a modern style building. Lobby Lobby is small in size but full of tsateful furnitures and decorations. General There are Fully equipped fitness gym, jacuzzi pool ( please dress bathing suit into pool) and Sauna room on top of building.This is a fashionable boutique hotel. Recommended for business travellers.

Good value for money - comfortable and clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Laundry service prompt. Breakfast is asian in the main, but okay.
it was not as near to fengchia as we thought, but overall a nice hotel with comfy bed and clean and good toilet (v impt for me! =P)
I enjoyed staying there. Close to a bus/coach station. Restaurants, shops etc. all close by. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I love the chinese cuisine, but I am always happy to get a western style breakfast as at Galerie Hotel Taichung.

A clean hotel but quite far from the railway and coach stations. It would be great if the hotel could provide scheduled shuttle service between these stations and the hotel. But the proximity of Feng Chia Night Market is a definite plus.

The room is clean & stylish, but the standard room is a bit small. Location is wonderful. The hotel is super close to night market and high way. Overall, I'll give 4 star for this hotel. Reasonable room rate, good location, good services and stylish room.
the room's facilities are very good for this price. Staffs can speak simple English. Only one thing I was disappointed is Check-In time. It's 3 pm and if you arrived at the hotel before this time, they won't let you check in. I was sick when arrived at the hotel before noon, and even there are some vacant room, but they didn't accept me to check- in earlier.
It is a rather small hotel with a nice and innovative business theme in its overall decorations. Very new and trendy facilities and very clean room that is well equipped with their own brands of toiletries. Not situated near the central of taichung but is very near the highway and the free feeder bus station (Chao Ma) to the High Speed Rail (HSR). Has a lot of pet shops in the back alley.
The hotel really lives up to the standard. A pity that it is not located near the high speed rail. The trip from the high speed rail station to hotel by cab costs about NT$250-260. By bus, probably around NT$15-20. The FengJia Night Market is within walking distance from the hotel and there is a 24 hr Carrefour nearby. You can't miss it because the sign board is huge. Btw, you can skip the Idee department store as it has closed down.
Good hotel for budget traveller. However it's about 10 mins walk from the night market.
The Galerie Hotel had good value for the money. Although it was small it had character and was very clean. If you're looking for luxury this is not the place to go but I appreciated its simplicity and charm.
Stayed here 5 days, really enjoyed my stay. It was a great hotel and very clean. Highly Recommended.
A great hotel, in terms of comfort, cleanliness and service. (Note the Chinese name of the hotel, ie. Tuo Cheng Shang Lu, in case you need to take a cab). Even though the hotel is slightly far from the main venue I was visiting (ie. Taichung stadium), the hotel is near the supposed king of the night markets in Taichung. A slight problem though, the flask in my room was slightly rusty and I didn't dare boil water with it. Nevertheless, it was more than made up for with the complementary bottles of mineral water and packets of fruit juice in the room. In fact, I'll definitely stay in the hotel if I visit Taichung again.
No frill hotel, quite happy with it, and it comes with a free condom. Haha.. Nice receptionist who recommended us some nice sight see places when we asked. Only bad is that we can't check in at 1pm, but only 3pm. We went sight see and came back around 10pm, our luggage was still at the reception. Can't blame much, since the hotel is abt 3stars, without a proper bellboy.
Very modern hotel with up-to-date and clean rooms. Breakfast offers a limited buffet.
