Getting there:By Plane Rome Fiumicino (230 km) Pisa (150 km) Florence (70 km) By Train From South: Rome-Chiusi-Chianciano Terme-Siena From North: Florence-Siena or Pisa-Florence By Bus From Florence: from the bus station at the main railway station (S.M.N.), catch the “Rapida Firenze-Siena” bus line - from 7 am to 7 pm every hour once in Siena get off at “Palazzo Diavoli” stop From Siena: from railway station catch Local bus line n. 9 (to via Tozzi) or n. 10 (to San Miniatto) and get off at “Palazzo Diavoli” stop By Car From North: from Highway A1 take exit “Firenze Certosa”. Once passed the tollbooth, take direction to the freeway “Siena-Firenze” up to exit “Siena Nord”. Follow direction to downtown and turn right at the 2nd traffic light. From South: from Highway A1 take the exit “Val di Chiana – Bettolle”. Follow the direction to Siena up to the exit “Siena Tangenziale” and the next exit “Siena Nord”. Follow the direction to downtown and turn right at the 2nd traffic light.

Very nice neighbourhood in the middle of garden. Nice view to old city of Siena. Short bus trip to the center and they sell bus tickets in the receoption. A very kind reception service and all the excursions we wantde was arranged perfectly.
Disappointing hotel in a beautiful town. I went with my husband for a short romantic break and we booked a double room. Our room was located in an extension of the hotel and we had a lovely view of a brick wall!. We asked for a double room but had 2 single beds shoved together that moved all over the place on a tiled floor. The walk to town takes about 30 minutes whic is fine but i would not recommend for seniors and disabeled. Gardens beautiful but during our visit (april) the pool looked sad: empty and fully of debris. Staff were reasonably helpful.

We stayed for 1 cold night in October. as temperatures droped outside the hotel was not prepared to turn the heating on. So unfortunately a rather cool experiance. Apart from this I would recommend the hotel to everyone who looks for the best value for money 4 Star hotel in Siena.
This hotel is gorgeous, practically a palace. We were in one of the outbuildings but the room was a good size and very pleasant with a view over the pool. Breakfast was more generous than we were expecting from a "cold buffet" with eggs and bacon included. The pool is fantastic and towels are provided by the hotel for this, although the pool is pretty cold it is good for swimming on a hot afternoon. The location isn't central to the city, but there are plenty of buses, especially the half hourly number 6 from just outside the back entrance. There were buses to the station and tickets (valid for 1 hour) were easily bought from the hotel reception. The conference centre facilities look useful for any businesses or wedding receptions.
Beautifully situated with a good view of Siena. Extremely clean room, larger than most. Lovely gardens. Only 15 min. walk to the Walls of Siena or a 1 Euro bus ride which goes around the local neighborhood. Excellent restaurant - very good complimentary breakfast. Would most definitely stay there again.
Garden Hotel Siena is a beautiful hotel with a wonderful dining room and grounds. I recommend paying for the "superior" room that offers a view of Siena. As long as you are paying that much for a hotel, and have travelled that far, it is worth the price for the magnificent view. The staff was very helpful, the room clean and spacious, and the breakfast was excellent. Having spectacular weather made the visit perfect.

Charming hotel. Beautiful breakfast room and ample breakfast buffet. Delightful relaxing swimming pool. I would return.
Beautiful hotel. Take a taxi to the hotel before adventuring out to see the sights - 6 Euro from the train station or the bus depot.
A lovely stay in Siena. Set on a hill overlooking the 'centro' in magnificent panorama from our bedroom window! The hotel is set in lovely gardens and you have magnificent views of the Tuscan hills and Siena itself. A most memorable stay for all the right reasons.
