Impressive. From what we understand, the resort was recently remodeled and/or rebuilt. We had a first-floor suite with a jacuzzi-tub on the patio. Very nice to relax in after a day of diving - overlooking the Somosomo Strait. Wonderful tiled floors, comfortable bedding, more than adequate air conditioning, and an oversized shower. The only drawback to the room was the lighting - there just wasn't enough. Dining - Great. From the continental breakfast to the "pre-ordered" lunches and dinners, the food was great. The bar served wonderful drinks, and the beer was always cold. Diving - Fantastic. The dive shop, on site, was excellent. My wife's gear didn't show up, so she had to rent. But that wasn't an issue. All gear was new, and it worked quite well. Dive staff was very friendly and helpful - on land and at sea. Of course, the diving... Sigh. It's Fiji. What more can be said? We'd be very happy to return to Garden Island Resort.
These rooms situated on the ground floor of the building. Rooms offer new bathrooms, air conditioning, new furniture, new fixtures and fittings, T.V. , bar refrigerator, extended rooms and outdoor private Spa. Maximum occupancy in these rooms will be a family of 4 ( 2 adults/2 chld under 12) or 3 adults.
