Very friendly staff, 20 minutes walk from Gare du Nord, close to North African grocery shops, restaurants and hairdressers! Very busy street (people not traffic) during the day but quiet at night. Although we were only there for one night, we had a good stay.

Garden Opera Hotel is very close to the Gare de Nord - for travellers coming to Paris from the UK on Eurostar - just one stop down on the Metro at Chateau d'Eau. Rooms are basic but comfortable and the service is friendly and relaxed.
