Garden Saint Martin Hotel Paris

I believe the price was only justified by the location. The hotel itself was not what I expected (from looking at select photos). The service, however, was quite wonderful and I was consistently greeted with a friendly face.

Very good location, but terrible facilities in the room. One power point in the room which was where the TV was, so everytime you needed to charge something you had to switch the TV off. Plus the power point in the bathroom was broken. Bathroom very small. Staff were friendly and spoke English.

The room was ok. It was clean and kept clean by the room service at all times. The bathroom was clean and good shower. Everything was very tiny, meaning measured by the millimeter. To enter the room, the door nearly hit the wall but didn't. If you don't spend to mutch time in your hotel romm (which you shouldn't in Paris) this was a good deal for a room situated in the very center of Paris close to Place the la Revoluton where you also have an Underground station leading you in all directions and only 4 stations from Les Halles.

Excellent location & good breakfast with lots of selection. Extremely small bathrooms! Our room did stink of smoke, pretty revolting, but the room was very clean.

very small rooms, good location-it is possible to go to the town by foot (20-40min to les halles, notre dame, Louvre), good cleanliness miro Slovakia.

Good value for money.

Excellent value for money, in an up and coming area of Paris, near two railways stations, where high speed trains for London (Eurostar), Brussels (Tahlys) and the Strasbourg run.

Basic hotel experience, but enjoyable breakfast buffet and wirless internet a major plus. Superb value.

Lovely area to stay. Close to Supermarkets, cafes, Greek, Chinese, Lebanese Takeaway/eat-in, Mcdonalds, KFC, Internet cafes, a park, Patissieres, Bars/cafes, Two Metros(easy to use). Can walk to Louvre, (about 40 mins), Notre Dame. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Good selection from buffet breakfast. Would recommend hotel to others. we stayed 2 weeks.

If do not want a luxurious hotel, this is a good hotel. Price is reasonable and the location is good for both eating out and public transportation.

For Positives; this hotel is in a good location on a very quiet street. The room was very clean. The shower and toilet worked perfectly. The price was reasonable for Paris. For Negatives; the furnishings in the room were very old and the room was very small. The bed was the smallest dubble I've every seen. The matress was not so old but the bed frame was old. We did not take breakfast because we considered it better value to take breakfast at a cafe.

Tres bonne location et un bon service. Personnel souriant. Un bon rapport Qualité/Prix Very good location and Nice service. Welcoming staff. Good quality/Price ratio.

Its a nice, quiet hotel and located extremely close to the metro station(Jacques Bonsergent).

Hotel is conveniently located near the Metro stn. Jacques Bonsgart & walking distance from both Republique & the Gare 'de Ost station. Rooms are small but well kept. Breakfast available however a couple of departmental stores near the hotel. Also closely located are internet cafes, laundry service. I was with my family and had quite a convenient stay. The staff is quite helpful. Paris was a good experience except that we lent EUR 60 to a Swiss gentleman who seemed to be in dire need and later found all his contact details were false ... of course he hasn't called us yet. So beware before you lend. I would still go back to Paris and the same hotel.
