Gateway Motor Inn offers an elegant country venue with a modern twist. Combining the charm of an old stable building for restaurant and functions with house bar and 10 self-contained luxury suites. Our rooms are appointed with state of the art facilities and a modern restful decor. All rooms have king beds, sun deck, beautiful ensuite, full mini bar, tea/coffee facilities, Sky TV on LCD wall mounted screens, iron and board, hair dryer, basic toiletries and complimentary newspaper & carparking. The Premier suite also features a separate bedroom, spa bath and full kitchen facilities. Building features include sound proof doors and "double skin" interior lining to minimise noise. All suites have internal access via the reception, which is adjacent to the restaurant and a sun deck off each room. Our house bar, "the Polo Lounge", is our authentic Lodge room, filled with a wonderful warm ambience. We have a bar, snack menu, arm chair seating, open fire and big screen TV. Lovely Hotel, very clean and friendly owners. Little out of town for restaurants, but wouldn't hesitate to rebook.

Very friendly and most obliging hosts. We arrived late after a long drive and were well fed and catered for. We were greeted daily like old friends and felt very at home . Highly recommended and what great filling breakfasts.
Great room and very clean, just need the restaurant to open on site. Though I understand, evening meals will soon be offered to guests. Would stay again.

Excellent spacious and modern rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant and bar were shut during the evening that we were there but that didn't bother us - we were only there the one night but very much enjoyed our stay and were pleasantly surprised.
More a boutique accomodation than the look from the road sujests Friendly staff quiet rooms no airconditioning only a heater not much apce for things in bathroom tv did not work and phone also so had to change rooms which was done without fuss meal was ok
Excellant new style property with great friendly staff Allmost like a lodge inside open fires billiard table big comfy chairs. Rooms large and well designed all facilites in room Motel is on main road but zero road noise Menu in restaurant a lttle limited but most people would find a good choice. Dont let looks deceive from the street it looks like a tin sheep shed but inside is what counts.

The room was adequte for my family. The bathroom did not provide enough toiletries for four people. I thought that the cane furniture in the room was not practical and too fragile. As there was a wedding reception booked for the night we got to the hotel, we were unable to eat at the restaurant or use the pool table which my children were really looking forward to. Apart from that we had an awesome stay.
We were not informed of a function that was booked for the night we stayed. this meant that we could not use any facilities - we only found out the function was on when we wanted to have a drink at the bar and a meal. Additionally, when we booked in the staff member was not friendly and made no effort to make conversation - the opposite to what we would expect from a hotel where we were paying good money. very disappointing!
