"Good hostel, good entertainment facilities and fairly clean. Can be quite a walk to toilets/shower walk if you have a shared facilities room but what can you expect in a hostel. Good bar area and friendly staff. Takes around 30mins to get to the centre of Berlin on the tram system. Located right outside the

"Excellent location with regular trams into Alexanderplatz.
Despite being a large hostel with a lively mix of people, the team running it manage to keep everything in order and I did not experience any problems with noise after 11pm, despite being in a room that was directly above the bar.
Cheap and cheerful, it is not luxury, but if you want somewhere to get sleep and a decent breakfast, and be close to the city centre then you can’t go too wrong with the Generator." - Tom Butler
