Georgian Court Inn Melbourne

We live in outer Melbourne and attended a celebration in the City. With our account balance reducing theprice even more, It was far cheaper to stay rather than get a Cab home. Knowing we only needed a bed we were very pleasantly surprised. The cooked breakfast was a bit of a shambles however will do it again. If attending any of the major Sporting Venues the location is perfect.

Beautiful, peaceful, totally enjoyable. So close to everything, yet we felt so far. Although there are over 30 rooms you'd never think or feel it. Just a total atmosphere of privacy. Staff were pleasant, courteous and most helpful. A wonderful three day weekend. Will definitely return.

Hotel is in a lovely, quiet treelined street. I had a single room which didn't an air con or even a fan, which was disappointing as the weather was quite warm and humid. Also my bathroom was across the hall. Overall it was a good budget hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Friendly, clean and at the edge of the cbd!

I found the owners and staff very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts are `100% fresh and appetising!! Rooms are very comfortable

I didn't realise I would not have an ensuite bathroom but having my own bathroom a little down the hall was okay for the one night. Just need to make it clearer about the bathroom

The facilities and breakfast etc were good but the owner reneged on a deal over parking. I was in a meeting in the morning and the owner had agreed to allow me to park there until 1.30pm (check in is at 2.00pm). When my partner checked out he said she could not leave the car. As she did not have the keys to move it he made her pay an extra $20.00 - POOR.

I was after a low cost hotel for 1 night and the Georgian met these requirements well. Very clean for an old building and the breakfast was excellent. staff were extremely friendly.

Close to Bridge Road shopping. Open area of underground train line at rear of building causing some noise. Historic building with timber stairways etc. Internet terminal on site. Personal service from staff.

Stayed in small single room without ensuite. Basic but comfortable. Staff very friendly, great continental breakfast. Great price. Would stay again.

Best value for money Bed & Breakfast in central Melbourne...!! The staff were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful during my stay at The Geogian Court. Easy walking distance to the MCG and the CBD of Melbourne is an added bonus. I will most definately return to the Geogian on my next visit to Melbourne.

Very good value for money, within walking distance to centre of city. Very friendly, helpful staff. Excellent fresh breakfast with wide choice. Great choice for the budget-conscious.

The service at the Georgian Court is excellent. The hosts are warm, friendly and always able to help in any way. The breakfast is also very good, home made stewed fruits etc. It is always a pleasure to go back to the Georgian Court when in Melbourne, as one is always received well, with great hospitality.

Wonderful.

A quiet and comfortable hotel with a very welcoming atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I look forward to another visit as I felt very much at home and was sorry I could only stay a short while this time. Most hotels feel impersonal - it was a welcome change to find a place to stay where I was so comfortable and this will change my mind about avoiding visits to Melbourne.
