"The hotel was nice standard hotel. Service was friendly and caring. The main entrance was unusually only an elevator, which is not available during the night. After 11? o'clock you have to use a back door, which situated a bit oddly." - Anonymous
"Out of hours access (22.00 - 07.00) truly awful. Smelled strongly of smoke. No eating possibilities within easy walking distance.

The GHOTEL Hamburg is situated in Hamburg-Altona, only one station and just a few minutes walking distance from the train station Altona. You can reach e.g. the city center and St. Pauli conveniently by bus and train. The musical theater "New Flora" is only 500 metres away. Advantage upon arrival by car to free hotel parking.
The welcoming rooms of the 3-star category are equipped with shower, toilet, hair dryer, cable TV, wireless, safe and direct-dial telephone. Upon request, you have Internet access through dial-in analogue modem. The reception of the TV channel Premiere is free.
Despite located enjoy quiet nights, as almost all hotel rooms on the courtyard. The spacious rooms are especially ideal for two adults and one child. The breakfast buffet makes for a good start to the day.

Public transportation: From The Airport take the Airport shuttle to Hamburg Central station. From there take the S-Bahn (11, 21, 31) direction "Elbgaustrasse" to "Holstenstrasse". Hotel is 500m right on "Stresemannstrasse" at "Kaltenkirchener Platz".
By car: exit Autobahn 7 at "Bahrenfeld" follow signs "Centrum" about 2km´s untill you reach the "Kaltenkirchener Platz". Turn left. The hotel is on your left. |
