Beautiful, peaceful location at the foot of Mt Tibrogargan on 5 acres of orchard and forest beside a small creek. Attractive ensuite rooms, self catering kitchen,lounge/games/library carriage.
This eco-friendly property is very quiet and peaceful with abundant wildlife - over 60 different types of birds have been seen here, butterflies, dragonflies, kangaroos. Selfguided walks and nature watch programmes.
We have a variety of reasonably priced ensuite accommodation available. Double rooms, family rooms and a two bedroom family suite. Rooms have views of Mt Tibrogargan or the forested creek area. Suitable for singles, couples, family groups , friendship groups. Great venue for boutique corporate events, retreats, workshops, team building. Beautiful workshop space in restored 110 year old church.
There is complimentary tea and coffee for all and a well equipped self catering kitchen in a vintage railway carriage and comfortable leather lounges in the games/library.A number of outdoor seating areas near the kitchen carriage, in the orchard and in the creek forest area.
Lots to see and do in the area so we recommend five days to see it all. We are only 10 minutes drive from Australia Zoo, a few hundred metres from Glasshouse Mountains National Park, and half an hour from beautiful beaches and mountain villages with bush walks, galleries, wineries and award winning restaurants and cafes. |

From Brisbane: Travel north along the Bruce Highway and take Steve Irwin Way exit on the left. After 9 kilometres turn right into Barrs Road/Mt. Tibrogargan.
From the Sunshine Coast and northern towns. Travel south along the Bruce Highway take the Landsborough/Steve Irwin Way exit and travel past Australia Zoo and Beerwah. Turn right 400 metres past Matilda into Barrs Road/Mt tibrogargan. The Ecolodge is 2 kilometres along barrs road on the right. Park inside off the road.
By Train
From the Brisbane airport take the airtrain to Eagle Junction or Bowen Hills and change to the Gympie Line and stop at Glasshouse Mountains Village. Phone us ahead of time to arrange for us to collect you from the railway station.

Inform Manager of time of arrival. Go to the office for checkin and guided tour of property. For an after hours checkin arrangements can be made by phoning the manager. |
