A hotel that should be rated ***** nice friendly staff, service exelent, quiet and large rooms, felt like a luxury hotel, you could feel the atmosphere of greatenes of old days. Wonderful large garden with lots of flowers and trees. We can truly recomend it.
If you have to stay overnight in Algeceris this Grand Hotel is an OK choice. It is very expensive, the breakfast is Ok but the location will require a taxi ride should you want to go out and eat or get to the ferry.
rooms, are clean & spacious, with good facilities, not impressed with indoor pool?not warm enough & changing facilities poor, also sauna, located in ladies changing room ,& not working,?breakfast ok,but no fresh juice available,
Very nice and romantic hotel! It was like living in old castle. Recomend for everyone.
The room was very spacious, even with a separate bed for our 2 year old and travel cot for our baby. Nice bathrooms. The grounds were very nice and the quality of the food was good. The people on reception were very helpful and ready to assist
Excelente!!!!
A great experience to stay in this hotel where so many famous people have stayed. Hotel is not modern and rather old worldly reminisant of the 1920s grand days. We were given a room in theit anex at first which was dark and unpleasant. Next day we were moved to the main building to a nice room with a view. Restaurant was well priced but food very uninteresting and poor quality. Breakfast just OK.
A hotel I will use again if I am back to same place
excellent room, cleanliness impecable, evening meal taken as option as few restuarants within easy distance of hotel, evening meal was very basic. hotel grounds are impressive car parking within the grounds but very well subscribed would book this hotel again
The hotel itself had an old colonial feel about however, we were very disappointed with the restaurant. We were not shown to a table and it was all buffet service. Sometimes plates not cleared by the time you got back from the buffet table. The buffet was very average although it was a reasonable price.
This place was fantastic!
Excellent hotel and facilities within easy access to Gibraltor and Cadiz. facilities First class facilities and wonderful setting and surroundings would certainly re book this Hotel.
A first class hotel with all the old world charm and comfort, it is peacefully located in beautiful grounds and has excellent facilities. The location is ideal for touring the Costa del Sol, Tariffa, Cadiz, Gibraltar and Morocco as well as inland Spain. The rooms are large and very comfortable with all necessary facilities and the meals were first class. We will be staying there again.
I would definitely go back, probably with the kids next time. Spacious grounds, professional and experienced staff... We had an excellent room - big, clean, long balcony, bathroom separate from toilet. Highly recommended. And Algeciras wasn't bad either!
I was very pleased with the service. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were very good indeed and the prices were also good especially when you consider that it is a 4 star hotel! The people were very friendly.
This is a beautiful hotel and whilst we had a very short stay I would love to go back and spend time relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere and excellent facilities.
Very well-run hotel in beautiful grounds. The only downside is that Algeciras is mainly industrial.
