Glories Hotel Barcelona

Hotel is quite well located: 7-8 walking minutes to subway, 15 minutes to RENFE if willing to go to Catalunya F1 Circuit, which was my purpose of the visit. The staff is nicely welcoming and gives you all support you'll need. I just would expect a bit bigger rooms at requested price. Staying alone, it is quite OK but if you came with your wife, it would not be that convenient. Limited space limits also the possibilities of the bar thus you'd need to go out if you want to sit with your friends for a while.This, however, is not a problem because you can find something close to the hotel.

Six of us stayed here recently for a fiftieth birthday celebration. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, rooms very clean but with not much of a view. Taxis to the centre cost about 5 euros and took about 10 minutes. We thought the hotel was very good value for the price.

Quality and services of this Hotel are in line with the price and rating of this hotel. Rooms are clean and breakfast is good. Hotel is located on walking distance of Sagra familia and Metro stations are nearby. Aswel on very close distance is a Spanish bullfight arena.

Good quality hotel close (10 minute walk) to Sagrada Familia (which is also one of the pick-up points for the hop-on hop-off daily bus tours) . Need a metro (station close by) or bus (bus stop close by) to go to centre of town (Ramblas area). There is also a big shopping area within 10 minute walking distance.

With hot buffet breakfast, no complain with this 3 stars hotel. Walking distance to Sagrada Familia church.

Nice hotel; very friendly and helpfull staff. Don't expect a view from your room, most are facing the (very) small backyard. Advantage is the quietness, the traffic isn't bothering you. We enjoyed our stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The room and en-suite were good. Quite close to the tube (five minute walk). Breakfast was excellent and staff friendly and helpful. Downside was that the internet connection available, only one, was slow and useless, probably just a bad day! Perhaps a map of the way to the tube in English and in reception would have been helpful.

Nice hotel, nice staff, only 8 minutus from the city center by bus / metro.

The hotel is close to the city centre and the metro station. I can travel to La Sagrada familia and Torre Agbar very easily from there. The breakfast is good.

I always stay here when in Barcelona - it is very central, the staff are very friendly, it is clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are delightful! Unfortunately it doesn't have its own car park but there is an undercover manned car park very close nearby at a cost of 16 Euro per night.

Hotel suited our needs - clean and comfy room, very nice bathroom. Nice breakfast, some may find it limited, but sufficent to get you going in the morning. Location is not in the centre of town , about a 20 min walk, or 5 min metro ride. Use Monumental station - very confusing to find your way from Glories. Look for the 'Bull Ring' and 'Gurkin' to help navigate you!

Just a good hotel. Exellent breakfast. Little bit noisy on streetside caused by traffic. Situated in a normal living area nearby the Sagrada Familia. recommended.

Hotel location is near the city but taxi costs to the city center 8 euros. hotel is very clean. breakfast is good, only there is a girl in the reception she doesn't know good english. All over i love this hotel. metro station is one street next.

small rooms

Very modern, impressive quality/price ratio. May not be in the very center but it is not far from it, near one of the main arteries, very well communicated (even at night) and also not far from the Forum park (gigs, etc). For 42€ a single, I would definitely repeat.

We had a wonderful stay. It is a lovely hotel, very near to a metro station. It was easy to get around Barcelona from the Glories. The staff was friendly and helpful, we could leave our bags in a secure area when we arrived early, and the breakfast was very nice. The room was comfortable, large, and spotlessly clean. Lobby is very upscale. I would highly recommend this hotel to other travelers.

a good hotel with a friendly service and quite welll located

Very good hotel. Wouldn't recommend it unless you were prepared to walk 10 minutes to the metro, and then travel to the city centre. Would happily recommend it otherwise, it was perfect for us.

Helpful reception staff. Barcelona is an hotel expensive city, so for the money - a good deal.

Ground floor was noisy at about 7am with staff getting breakfast ready.
