"I enjoyed staying at the Golden Gate Apartments, it was a bit further from the heart of Surfer's than I would have liked, but due to their price of accomodation I choose to stay there. I enjoyed all the facilities and would stay there again." - Jodi Bartrim


"Receptionist should offer more information on arrival of day to day events and also upon arrival to also greet their guest with complimentary wine/champagne. It would be more welcoming from the reception to advise areas of interest to visit even if info board is available. My only disappointment was that they had no extra supply of toilet paper, toilet freshener, garbage tidy bin bags, bath soap, dish washing liquid which had to be purchased by ourselves and the entertainment equipment too old. Also the air conditioning was inefficient. All white goods were satisfactory and in working condition, supply of crockery and cutlery were great, modern furniture and the rooms well positioned (views were great) from all angles. Location: If you don't walk daily, and do not have your own transport, or are elderly, it is quite a hike to get to the Surfers Paradise shopping center. We would recommend this hotel if they need to stay over 4 nights. " - Soula Tsouvallas

Hotel description:    High-rise building with larger than usual self-contained apartments.
Located midway between central Surfers and the fashionable Main Beach restaurants.

Patrolled surf beaches are just accross the road. There is a large heated swimming and wading pool with plenty of space for the children to run in the gardens.

All apartments are non-smoking.

A $200.00 CREDIT CARD PRE AUTH BOND IS REQUIRED FOR EACH APARTMENT UPON CHECK IN.

Reception hours are 9 am - 5 pm weekdays & 9 am - 12 noon on weekends & public holidays.
Weekend and Public holiday check in time is 11.45 am. YOU MUST PHONE AHEAD TO ARRANGE AFTER HOURS KEY PICK UP

Getting there: Follow the Gold Coast Highway to Surfers Paradise. Golden Gate is located 1.2km north of Cavil Mall, just after the Ocean Avenue intersection. We have entrances from both the north- and south-bound lanes. The north-bound lane is opposite Australis Soverign. The south-bound lane is opposite Red Rooster.
Check-in Procedure: Reception hours 9 am-5 pm weekdays & 9am-12noon weekends & public holidays. Weekend and Public holiday check in time is 11.45am. After hours check in please call property within office hours for instructions.
