Getting there:Driving from Auckland takes about 2.75 - 3 hours. From Rotorua airport the shuttle takes 15 minutes and costs $15 for 1 & $18 for 2 persons. - Taxi costs $25 The bus terminal is at Tourism Rotorua i-Site - approx 5 min walk - Taxi $10

It was lovely and warm especially after coming in from a very cold and gloomy day and also that night the rain was also very cold.
We will use this motel again in the future. Location and facilities worked for us.

The furnishings were rather old and the bed was uncomfortable. The spa is located in an area that is half open, although private. Nevertheless, it was very cold in wintertime.

A very comfortable and central place to stay. We received the kind of unit we had requested (1 bedroom, non-smoking). Facilities were good (the private spa pool especially) and we have no hesitation in recommending it - we would certainly stay there again. However it is not 4 star, so if your tastes demand complimentary toiletries and luxurious surroundings it might not be for you.
