Getting there:From Ataturk International Airport: You can take the metro to the last stop. Change to Yusufpasha Tram station and take a tram to Gulhane Stop. Hotel is 100 m from the tram stop. For 2 person, Pick-up service from the airport at the cost of 25 EUR from Ataturk Airport and 70 EUR from Sabiha Gokcen Airport. Send us your flight details if you request a transfer.

Clean. 10-15 minute walk to Blue Mosque and other places but close to Eminonu. Buffet breakfast on the top floor was fine. Many Turkish tourists. It's just fine.
Location of the hotel is excellent. Close to all ancient sites of Istanbul. Hotel itself if of less quality (small and somewhat messy rooms), the staff on the other hand is service oriented.

Excellent location but the standard of the hotel generally was very low indeed. Breakfast was hit and miss - if you went after 0900 they did not replace hot food and juice was extra. The rooms are very small and crampt with little or no storage space. The rooftop restaurant we did not use as it was fitted with plastic tables and chairs and very uninviting. We did not eat there as the standard so low. Would never go back.
