Golden Riviera Beach Resort Gold Coast

Excellent location on beach front & close to shops, takeaways, church etc. A bit noisy being on flight path but great being away from all the highrise etc.

When we got to our room it had not been cleaned yet and it was horrendous, i think a pack of animals may have stayed in it before us. Once cleaned however it was very nice. Too many noisy kids in the pool put me off using that area but beach right outside anyway. Great location, lots of beautiful birds (the feathered variety) and the most helpful receptionist i've ever come across. Not too far from the airport, just off the man tourist track and good value for money.

Apartment was clean, but the service not so great. The air-conditioning was not working, and was not fixed, and TV stopped working and not replaced. 4 night in very humid QLD without aircon was a but much. Also, VERY close to the airport, planes flying low above. Did not bother us, but may to the noise sensitive.

Great setting on the beach with interesting shops close by and plenty of places to eat. No video/DVD or stereo in rooms, otherwise great!

Really good location away from the commercialized beaches yet close to all facilities needed. Noise from nearby highway was not noticeable. Would happily stay at resort in future.

we have stayed here previously in other rooms which were better appointed. doors locked within the unit felt oppressive. extractor fan in bathroom was not working or was completely inadequate and general public areas were not as pristine as on previous stays.

I have stayed here four times, good accommodation. Carpets need cleaning -(perhaps tiled floors would be better.) This time it was noticeable that the walls should be repainted, especially in the passageways. Front entry bell didn't work (again). Worth visiting.

For the price of the hotel the facilities and standard was exceptional. Plus the location was literally right on the beach and very peaceful no loud traffic or nearby noises. Very happy, will be back very soon!

Excellent hotel, people were friendly, pool is heated to 30 degrees, and out the gate is the beach. Within walking distance to local shops and 5 min from Coolangatta Airport

An excellent place to stay in the Gold Coast, a bit further from the theme parks than others(about 20-25 mins by car)but quiet,right on the beach,close to Coolangatta airport and very well set up with a full kitchen and spacious two bedroom units and very nice heated pool.

Facility is excellent. The morning beach walks were spectacularly peaceful. We will be back as soon as we can.

We arrived by air and hired a car. Very handy location close to the airport, right on the beach, and the highway to Movieworld and Dreamworld is close.

Very well appointed apartment.

Walking distance to supermarket, restraunts, public transport and beach. So you don't need a vehicle.

This property is superb, we were absolutely delighted with our unit, location was great, security first class, will definitely stay there again in not too distant future and have no hesitation recommending this resort to anyone, honeymoon couple or family.

Clean resort at a good price. Lack of goodwill from the management.

The unit was quite spacious and had very good applicances, but the carpet was very dirty as with the walls. The room we stayed in was very noisy in the early hours of the morning because it was right above the Tavern's Restaurant. The location was nice however and close to shops and restaurants.
