Though all services were good but internet connectivity in room needs to be looked at. Also, there is a need to maintain all time replenishment of bathroom items like soap, gel, shampoo etc.

Small apartment with all the room you could want when traveling with the family. Within walking distance to the Metro. Swimming pool great for children. kitchen amenities minimal -

Hotel was good.... they charged me 500 Dirhams ($191) to check in 4 hours early. Also, I lost my camera at the lobby and no one could find.

I don't wanna be harsh on this hotel, but it s not a 4 star hotel as advertised, PLUSES: it has a great location, the staff are nice and helpful, free internet in the rooms (not wi-fi) free parking, MINUSES: the room was not clean, and needed some serious updates , I was checked into a smoking room without being asked if I desire it, and I'm not a smoker...I wouldn't recommend this hotel just because room cleanliness is way more important to me than the pluses mentioned above.

Stayed for 4 nights with 2 kids. Quite central location and close to 2 Metro stations. The rooms are spacious and clean. If you are looking spotless carpets and shining bathtub, you wont get it here. If you want a place to sleep in the night after touring the city in the day, this place would meet your needs amply. The AC in one of the rooms was not working but Dubai was not hot on the days we visited. So we did not complain. The staff was friendly so they would have probably fixed it. Did not use the pool / Gym.

The Hotel itself was ideal location if you want to shop in Mina Bazaar, Gold Souk etc. The swimming pool on the 1st Floor although adequate was hampered by the buildings covering the pool which prevented the sun hitting the area. Al be it there was a rooftop pool.

very clean apartment, spinnys is just down the road great supermarket,staff really friendly, and so close to everything plus there is a free coach to the beach every morning,all in all a great holiday thanx

Great Hotel Will stay again, basic but cheap and service is great

This was the first time I stayed in the Bu Dubai area. I always tempted to stay away. This time I took a chance. As I drove up to the building, I started to get worried. Walked into the lobby and was not impressed. But when I walked into my furnished studio, I was extremely impressed. It's not a 5* room, but it was extremely clean, which is most important to me. No stains on the furniture, clean bathroom, no funky smells, etc.. I was lucky to book this studio at 150dhs per night through an online vendor. If I could get that same deal again, I would definately stay there again.

excellent value for money, comfortable with all facilities

I stayed here while on a budget holiday around the world. I could not fault the hotel. It met all our requirements and will definetly be recommending it to my friends on my travels. If you need a washing machine, a kitchen to do some of your own cooking, this is the place for you. Air conditioning works really well in the living room, bathroom does get a bit hot but that is all good. Service was really good, bell boy Harris was terrific. I will be back again.

every thing was very good Except the internet its only in lobby and time to time stopped

We had to stay here for a couple of weeks, the room was not very clean, seemed like they hadn't cleaned it when we first arrived; staff is pretty friendly and always ready to help, but I do wish they'd clean the rooms properly...

The Golden Sands Hotel is located in very nice location.. all facilities for shopping, entertainment, and nightlife are available in the nearby, The Wonder Bus & Bus of Dubai are within walkable distances. Also it is recommended for its easy accesses. It is close to the business district of Dubai. Also to remark that the hotel is quiet, clean and nice staff but the facilities are limited and proportioned to its pricing.

Very nice hotel, nice staff especially housekeeping and reception. Pricing is very interesting. Will definitely try and come back insha Allah.

Everything was great! What more could you ask for for 64 australian dollars a night! This included an apartment, complete with clothes washer and dryer, cooking facilities, comfortable bed and AIR CONDITIONING that worked!! Lovely and clean, air conditioning worked beautifully,( even had to make a little warmer!) as it was 46 degrees when we arrived!! Staff could not be more helpful. A little out of town, but hey, taxis sooooooo cheap, who cares! Make sure though, that when you arrive, ask taxi driver to go to GOLDEN SANDS No. 3, as this is the reception check in, and there are 14 "other" complexes ajoined to the hotel. If you do not do this, you will not know where you are going. If english is your first language and you do not converse in Arabic, cut & paste hotel and address into a translator website, print out and give to taxi driver. We loved it and would reccommend to stay again.

Good value for money. Housekeeping was good. Although it's an apartment, you get hotel service.
