No real other comments. However, I booked a last minute stay due to work for a reasonable price. I would recommend the Carlton to maintain this last minute offer, for it was the reason for me to place the booking at the Carlton." - Anonymous

"A generally nice hotel with pleasant friendly staff. However, the area is somewhat run-down with lots of dirty back streets nearby and we felt a little unsafe walking around there in the evening. The hotel has a private carpark which you must pay for. The private "secure" carpark looks more like a bomb-site than a carpark and I really wouldn't class it as secure. Overall, the stay was quite acceptable and would be perfectly sufficient for a business person, as long as you don't mind partly demolished buildings and building sites as the view from your window.
