Very close to train station. However we traveled by car and it was difficult to find the car park. The staff was friendly.
NIce place if you're booking with a discount. Wouldn't pay full price. Four stars were not obvious. Has air conditioning, close to the station but not too noisy. Pleasant overall.
This Hotel is excellent. I found the welcome desk friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was first rate, and the location....the best in Genova. I loved it after touring the city, I found that it was the best area to stay in. Truly lovely experience.
NZ couple stayed at hotel for 3 days mid December 2007. Excellent location, right opposite Brignole station. Will stay again. Staff very friendly and speak English. Great cafe nearby for coffee. Internet to left of hotel exit.

The Moderno Verdi is an old hotel, which is very close to Genoa Brignole train station. The entrance is an unassuming doorway in a classic old mall. Inside the hotel is very well kept and the service is friendly and efficient. We had booked a double room, but they showed us to a twin. When we said it wasn't what we'd booked they immediately allocated us to a lovely big double. We paid 99 euros a night for the two of us B&B. Good value we thought.
Everything was fine and they even have a car park.
Very close to the main train station and well connected by bus with the airport (20 min.). The town centre is reachable just in 5 min. walking.
Excellent hotel at a very reasonable price, and in a very convenient location. Highly recommended.
Perfect for our needs! Located 100 yards form the Brignole train station in Genova and within walking distant to the historical area, pier and excellent shopping. Definately would go back to the hotel, and city! The service was also outstanding! Great hotel!
