Gonzaga Hotel Milan

clean and lovely large room, we were given a disabled room so the bathroom was enormous. Only problem was that noise carried with the marble floors, however this didnt disturb us too much. Breakfast choice was good, prompt staff to replenish breakfast items if needed, especially toward the end of "breakfast" hours. Lovely place to stay, will return.

well located close to train station, some shops (for a good shopping go to Buenos Aires av few blocks away) and restaurants. The hotel is OK, the only annoying thing is to find the entance after hours, as they are in a building with other offices. You need to find the buzzer and call the reception from the street so they can unlock the entrance door. Also there a bit of noise from the trams as most of the rooms face the busy street.

the hotel had a nice large and fresh clean room with opening windows. beds were comfortable etc. asked for a double but got twin beds but still all was okay. i would stay here again, and once again using this website has been great value for money.

Average sized room, but it was clean and tidy. Close to Milan railway station and the tram (from which to make your way to landmarks). Excellent continental breakfast like only the Italians can do! But awful service - wouldn't come back again.

This hotel is very (very) close to the Central Station. Spacious , newly furbished and clean room, OK breakfast. The staff treated me and my teenage daughters quite correctly, but as several other guests has mentioned they are on the edge of being arrogant, especially towards foreign guests. They treat you like you really arent important or doesnt matter...So if you can cope with a not so warm and welcoming staff, some noise from trams and the traffic outside, its really a covenient and OK place to stay near "everything".

The hotel is well placed for the central station and metro lines. Rooms are large and very clean, a good breakfast is also provided. Staff were polite helpful and attentive. Only complaint- traffic noise from the street outside.

Good value for money considering rooms in Milan were sold out and astronomically expensive. This is a good place to stay if all you need is a place to sleep. It is within walking distance to Milan Central Station, so it is very convenient if traveling by train. Also, there is a direct bus service to (from) Malpensa from the Central Station. The hotel is also a block away from the metro with stops in Piazza Duomo. The only issue is when I checked out at 5:30 a.m. The night person was not sufficiently trained in checking out [website] guests. He insisted that the voucher I presented the previous day was a mere confirmation and that I needed to pay the hotel for my room. Having dealt with Italian bureaucrats before, I didn't give in until he realized I was right.

Nice hotel, very central, good value.

Very nice hotel, takes 5mins on the metro to get to city centre, The weird thing about it is that it is in the middle of a office block, you have to go to floor 3 to get to hotel.

Bedrooms excellent, Buffet breakfast a bit basic. Staff courtious. However, misunderstanding over bill (deposit paid not deducted!)poorly handled. But I would stay there again.

Very clean and close to the station

The room is new and clean. The hotel is also near to the railway station, so very convenient. However, the room is very stuffy (heating continued to come out even if we were told that the heater had been turned off) and very noisy as it is facing the main road with heavy traffic. Could hardly have a nice sleep at night.

Everything is great and excellence, nice stay! i'll definitely visit again next time.

As all arrivals by coach or train seem to be to the Central Station the location of this hotel is excellent. The hotel is unusually just one floor of a five floor building but decor, cleanliness and service are excellent. Not that many restaurants close by but how many do you need ? Virtually no bars nearby unless you want to spend £5 (7 euros for a pint opposite the rail station.
